★ ★ ★ ★ ★ FROM OCTOBER 2019: We came back and rented again! (We live in North America). This time rode past Cantine Dei, Chiesa della Madonna, Stopped at Boscarelli for a light lunch and tasting (excellent), took a two track trail to-and-back Poderi Sanguineto, rode past Croce di Febo and stopped in at Salcheto for some great pics of Montepulciano and finished up at Chiesa di San Biagio. What a great ride!
FROM JUNE 2018: This is the place to go! We rode two types of e-bikes on our trip and checked out e-bikes from other shops all around Tuscany and Provence. These bikes leave the rest in the dust. They are simply amazing - disk brakes, powerful motors, long lasting batteries, GPS navigation, monster tires, etc. These things were so much fun for me any my wife (50+ years old). I'm still grinning. We rode through Monticchiello and on to Pienza (1 hour 20 minutes each way, plus time to walk the towns). Riding past the parking lots and instead parking in the town squares was special. Some roads were steep gravel - but these bikes could easily handle it. We passed other e-bikers (from another shop) that broke down - oof. The bikes have three levels of assistance, so you can chose how hard you want to pedal. If you are in doubt, just do it! We reserved for a full day, but since we got back early, they charged us less. Nice people!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a fun experience! We were in Montepulciano in May. We had booked the bikes for the day and just followed the GPS as we biked around the Tuscan countryside, which is just spectacular!! The electric bikes are really easy to ride. The Urban Bikery staff are really friendly and nice!! Also my (then) boyfriend proposed at one of the spots along the route between Monticchiello and Pienza as we stopped to admire the gorgeous view! If it wasn't for Urban Bikery, my fiance wouldn't have found that perfect spot and moment. They have really beautiful routes which will take you to the prettiest towns in Tuscany! It is a must do experience in Montepulciano! Cannot wait to go back and experience it all again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Myself and my wife rented b ebikes from Urban Bikery, Geogieo and Michela were very welcoming and friendly. We wanted to do some cycling that was not on their standard route and they went out of their way to advise us. We still did the wine tour route which was excellent, highly recommend it. Bikes were joy to cycle especially for my wife who was nervous initially but really got the hang of it and enjoyed the trip. Highly recommend the shop and the services they offer. Tony from Ireland.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing experience. You can truly live Val D'Orcia only if you roam its unpaved, hilly roads from hamlet to hamlet - the electric bikes by Urban Bikery are the perfect match! The guys are so kind and provide you with everything. Their GPS tours are well-designed to make the most of the ride.
It was the first time for me on an e-bike, I found it very stable and easy to control. You quickly get the feeling how much you can trust your own legs (breaking a sweat gives its satisfactions) versus when it is time to indulge an extra boost.
A must-do, higly recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Riding a bike in Tuscany is a must despite your cycling skills. The folks from Urban Bikery made my dream com true. Their electric bikes with fat tires are the perfect option to explore all hills and ride the along the vineyards. It was my first time in Montepulciano do their app gave the best spots and routes to go. 100% recommended.
