The wines are excellent and also cured meats and cheeses. But the fact that such an ancient and prestigious winery does not have a bathroom inside is shameful.

Siamo entrati in enoteca e ci siamo sentiti subito a casa, i ragazzi sono stati gentili e molto disponibili ed il vino che abbiamo preso è stato ottimo. Consiglio vivamente la visita ed un bel bicchiere di vino nobile. Palazzo Contucci is a historic building in Montepulciano, it is located right in Piazza Grande. We went into the wine shop and we immediately felt at home, the guys were kind and very helpful and the wine we had was excellent. I highly recommend the visit and a nice glass of noble wine.

Insomma una bella gita merita una bella sosta! ???????????? Palazzo Contucci is an integral part of the history of Montepulciano, Andrea Contucci already producer of the wonderful Nobile di Montepulciano has decided to let us enter the house by opening the Enoteca a wonderful place full of history where you can eat platters made up of excellent local products and taste the wines of the Contucci Winery that you can also visit by taking a tour of the historical part and then buy Contucci wine and oil. In short, a nice trip deserves a nice stop! ????????????

Abbiamo fatto un aperitivo con i vini della storica cantina Contucci accompagnati da un tagliere di salumi e formaggi e siamo rimasti davvero soddisfatti. Il personale è stato molto accogliente e gentile e ci ha aiutato anche nella scelta del vino e i prezzi sono giusti. Davvero consigliato! The wine shop is inside the Contucci palace and has a beautiful view of Piazza Grande. We had an aperitif with the wines of the historic Contucci winery accompanied by a platter of cold cuts and cheeses and we were really satisfied. The staff were very welcoming and kind and also helped us with the choice of wine and the prices are fair. Really recommended!
C	C L on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ NO GOOD DEAL: they offer a glass of Vino Nobile for 7 euros including snacks. Firstly, the glass only contains 0.1 L. Secondly, the snacks offered are cheap industrial snacks like peanuts and crackers that don’t even go well with the wine. Elsewhere in Italy you would get proper snacks at such a price like a few slices of salami or ham, some chunks of cheese and so on. AVOID!
