The waitering was good and nice pasta I had for lunch completed the stay.

β β β β β We had to make reservations and we are glad we did. Spent our last night in Italy, Lucca at Piccola Osteria Lucca Drento having dinner and drinks. We loved it. Nice crew, great location, tasty menu. We'd go there again!

β β β β β This place has lovely localization but as we entered the girl welcomed us with "what do you want" greeting. This set of words put us in weird position of intruders not guests. I feel like she didn't know what to say. It's a freaking tourists city! I would like you to attend a basic English speaking course so you are not surprise with non Italian guests. Shame on you guys! poor service..

β β β β β Small casual restaurant, we found the food good, not amazing but very enjoyable (and I'd think reliable in a town full of tourist traps). We had the local traditional pasta 'tordelliβ and shared a meat main. Nice house wine, by glass/carafe or bottle. Pleasant staff, and the venue is cozy, with a nice outdoors also in a lovely square in Lucca.

Almost 3β¬ for a cappuccino?? And that's a price for locals? Sorry, you have to buy me dinner before you do me like that. This place used to be great. Now it's a place to avoid. Too bad... This was the only non-pretentious place in Piazza San Frediano. WAS. See ya...
