The food was simply amazing, the owner or manager who helped us went out of his way, such as allowing us to move inside and other small gestures. One of my favorate restarants in all of Italy. Everything was spectacular and we felt really taken care of.
A	Anongnat Amundsen on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pasquale and his crew must have one if the smallest kitchens in town, but the food is delicious and he greets guests at every table and gives wine reccommendations. Very popular spot, so booking is advised during high/summer season. Great service in general, but during busy hours we noticed many guests had to wait 20 minutes and more for the check, including ourselves. It’s unacceptable and also very unfortunate because it may leave a bad last impression and weaken an otherwise nice experience.

The owner is so nice and very knowledgeable about wine! We had seafood salad, Gnocchi, and fillet steak to share with. Every dishes was so delicious and came with large portions! So much choice for the wine. Looking around the world, you can find good restaurant with good food and good wine, but it’s always not easy with reasonable price! We just couldn’t recommend more! A must visit place in Lucca! Remember to make reservation before you go. Grazie! Grazie! Grazie Mille! Thank you so much for providing such good food and good wine, Mr. Pasquale!

Each time is special with fresh quality ingredients (lots of fish and seafood) along with other Tuscan specialties. The wine list is nothing short of spectacular. Prices are great for the quality of food and wine. The owner is extremely generous and knowledgeable. This time we traveled from Florence to Lucca for one night just so as to eat at his restaurant, and enjoy the beautiful town for a day. The food and wine and hospitality were better than ever. Book ahead as the restaurant is small and always full with locals and travelers alike.

Pasquale knows what great hospitality is, and his wine know-how and experience is huge. Best place in Lucca to combine delicious food and amazing wine! Pasquale really enjoys being a restauranteur and his enthusiasm carries the night. His wine selections for each individual dish were superb and instructive. Lovely service and special birthday attention too. Highly recommend this tucked away spot, phone reservations absolutely required.

Upon entering the restaurant, we were welcomed by the owner Pasquale. His smile and energy were palpable which endured the entire evening. The wine list is endless, and we chose a delicious piedmont red at the recommendation of Pasquale. The food was exquisite and was consistent with what our expectation would be of fine dining. I highly recommend this authentic cuisine, right in the heart of Lucca. We visited many of the restaurants in the Tuscany region, and always compared it to our experience at Osteria Pasqualino Gubitosa. We will definitely be back! Thank you Pasquale!
