★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful location down a quiet little alley off Puccini square. The staff were amazing and we had our crazy kids running around and it was not a problem. We actually shared all our meals so we tried a few dishes and loved them all. The Anchovy and butter entrée was unexpectedly amazing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had been longing to dine out at this restaurant but was not really impressed. Although some tables were still empty, service was somewhat slow. Food was normal, nothing as special as my expectations were. Maybe it's a question of taste as well but I've tasted more delicious tiramisu, especially in Italy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing presentation of truly delicious food in a beautifully appointed setting—Perfect evening. Words will not adequately describe the presentation and the incredible flavor of this food. The tasting menu included Zucchini Squash Florets, main courses included stuffed Ravioli, Rabbit and sauces and Wild Boar Pasta. Desserts included Flan and a Chocolate Raspberry Torte. The Cappuccinos were the best we have had in Italy. Beyond the food and atmosphere was the service, attentive at every level to every detail. Overall an outstanding culinary experience.

The ambiance was amazing. This place was equivalent to a star restaurant. We were so very pleased to find it and also to dine here

I have enjoyed every dish, from appetizer to main course!
Unfortunately I was too full to try the desserts, but if I ever return to Lucca, I will come back for to restaurant as well ?!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Despite the new name (Restaurante Schiaffino), the food is still delicious! It’s tucked away in a cozy spot on a side street away from the hustle and bustle, very polite servers, fast service. We had the beef tartare, gnocchi with rabbit and Parmigiana. The tartare had different textures and perfectly paired flavors. The gnocchi were really soft, but not doughy, just perfect.
