★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Se sei un appassionato di legumi e sei a Lucca, non puoi non passare da Prospero e acquistare sacchetti con queste delizie per poi regalarle agli amici o cucinartele a casa. Mio nonno, buongustaio mi ci portava sempre e ora continuò la tradizione di famiglia quando torno a Lucca.
If you are a fan of legumes and you are in Lucca, you cannot fail to go to Prospero and buy bags with these delights and then give them to friends or cook them at home. My grandfather, a gourmet, always took me there and now he continued the family tradition when I return to Lucca.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Location bellissima ricca di storia dove puoi trovare i vecchi e splendidi sapori. È nel centro di Lucca in uno dei suoi splendidi vicoli. La sua insegna e la sua vetrina fanno da specchio all'interno del locale bellissimo antico e accattivante. Qui puoi trovare le famose zuppe toscane in tutte le sue qualità. Puoi scegliere un tipo di miele tra i quali quello che preferisco la melata che non si trova da tutte le parti. Poi polenta olive olio aceto e poi la parte dolce biscotti cantucci e le marmellate.... Ma impossibile elencare tutti i prodotti serviti accuratamente da un personale molto competente e gentile. Top!!!
Beautiful location full of history where you can find the old and splendid flavors. It is in the center of Lucca in one of its beautiful alleys. Its sign and its window mirror the inside of the beautiful ancient and captivating place. Here you can find the famous Tuscan soups in all its qualities. You can choose a type of honey among which the one I prefer is the honeydew that is not found everywhere. Then polenta, olive oil, vinegar and then the sweet part, biscuits, cantucci and jams .... But it's impossible to list all the products carefully served by a very competent and kind staff. Top!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cute little deli that we stumbled upon in Lucca. We had a gorgeous charcuterie and cheese plate with some prosecco (very good value) and were captivated by the butcher attempting to describe different local olive oils to us without a common language! Lots of nice things to take away and we loved that they had local olive oils in hand-luggage sizes!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great store! We stumbled upon it while wandering around Lucca old town. It was late in the evening, close to the closing time, but the staff were still very nice to let us try a few locally pruduced olive oils and explain everything they could to help us decide on what we wanted to buy.
