★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great beach and gardens, but the rooms... This hotel is not a 5* hotel but if you can get a good rate it’s great for its lovely views and meticulously maintained gardens. I don’t know what went wrong with the decoration of the rooms. Red walls with pink cupboards and gold accents with African tribal art. It’s just weird and so odd considering the gardens are so beautiful and tastefully landscaped.
Service is very attentive and kind. Breakfast pretty good with fruit, baked goods, great coffee, and hot “American” items like bacon and eggs.
I don’t recommend the restaurant for dinner unless you’re in a pinch. Really expensive for only adequate food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a few issues with the room but service was very good and they sorted it out for us quickly and changed rooms.
Restaurant is disappointing as there isn't much choice and is extremely pricey. Service was not great either and for breakfast it took ages even for a pot tea to arrive. So there is no choice but to venture out.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Definitely the best choice to stay near Syracuse. stunning views to Ortigia, sandy and rocky beach in one place. The rooms are comfortable, classic design and marble in the bathroom with Hatria porcelain.
The staff from the BF is very friendly, the manager behavior of the hotel is exceptional, he cares personally about the guest requests. We spent a pleasant time here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ INCREDIBLE!!! The hotel is beautifully constructed and has the most perfect location setting for a relaxing beach resort. The rooms are impeccable and I really like the interior design and overall comfort of the rooms. The private sandy lido is perfectly positioned for optimal sun in the am and early afternoon while the bayside cliff lounge area is perfectly positioned for later afternoon sun bathing and a picturesque sunset view encompassing the Fort of Ortigia, Mt. Etna, they bay and rolling hills of Siracusa. This is a bucket list must stay resort for couples. Service was also top notch and all staff were extremely helpful and polite. Overall EXCELLENT!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ To be honest, the hotel was a HUGE disappointment. Considering the big price, it was a major letdown. The staff was totally untrained and incapable to do the simplest things. Ordering a coffee and pancakes in the morning was already too much for them. Most of the employees spoke little to no english. They didn't even know their own hotel area and couldn't tell us stuff like where we could find the gym, pointing us in the opposite direction. The food was overpriced and bad. Really... The salad and club sandwich we had was a total joke. The hotel wasn't clean either. A lot of stuff was broken, destroying the feeling of a luxury resort. You have to pay additional fees to use the spa, which is one small room. In there the hot tub was partially broken... On our last night they blasted music till 2 am in the morning super loud...
All in all me and my girlfriend were just laughing at the end.
We stayed in other 5 star hotels much cheaper, that had a much higher quality.
The worst part about the Minareto really was the staff. So unfriendly, did not say hello, looked uninspired... We felt really unwelcome. I payed 1000 euros for 2 nights.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed a week in august 2021, the beach is ok not a great one and swimming pool has no view.
The rocky place can’t swim.
But other than that, we do enjoy the breakfast time, the service is good and always has the Sicily local sweets ❤️
