★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice and small beach, easy to reach for on Syracuse and finally via stairs. Half of the beach is reserved by a hotel, then there is a lifeguard, and a stretch of sand for guests of the free beach. There are garbage cans, but no other infrastructure (no showers, no snacks, also not close nearby by foot). The other guests were Italian families, probably rather locals, it was relaxed. We parked at a parking lot nearby that seemed to belong to the hotel/their staff. A friendly staff member told us we could unofficially park there.
Would come back for a swim for 1-3h from the city.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The location is amazing, but the beach is very tiny and therefore extremely crowded. The sea has lots of seaweed and rocks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely beach that has only a few stairs to reach the bottom. The water is very calm and shallow in many places with several sand banks. My 3 year old enjoyed it very much. There is also a an archway you can swim under to another more secluded bay that is easy to reach and isn’t deep - my 8 year old joined me easily. Definitely worth the drive and I suggest going after 3 when it’s not so busy and there’s some shade if needed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great nature, small beach but with many stones and seaweed while entering the sea. Anyway, it's a recommendation from me but there are no shops next to it so you should bring some food and drinks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ok but nothing more. Very small. Sand. Nice for children. No services except for a 5 star hotel taking away 50% of the total beach. Strange, but I guess this is common in Italy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful place. Unfortunately quite crowded. Reachable by bus 23 from The City Center. Its worth to visit spaggia massolivieri which is nearby.
