★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst service ever, they gave me a Panda scratched ,unwashed when I've asked for a different car. To add to the sub standard service they ended up charging 72 euro for a petrol when I've returned the car with a full tank. The charges ended up 400 euro to rent a panda for 5 days........tried to call customer service but is not answering the phone. Scam avoid rent a car from this company

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Failed to provide the rented car class, the replacement was not acceptable so we requested a new car of the same class we paid. We were given a another car, and a couple of months later we were charged 500€+ without consent or warning, claiming it was a car upgrade and that we were informed about it.
1st - We were never informed about this 500€.
2nd - it was not a car upgrade, you were trying to give us a car smaller than what we rented.
As most of reviews here, we were also SCAMED by this company.
Never using Maggiore an Avis Group company ever again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lied to me about having to have winter tyres in switzerland when snow chains (provided free with my rental) were adequate. Charged for refuelling when car was refuelled on return. None of the phone numbers on their website work - not one. Charged me for damage when no proof was supplied and no explanation of charge. Would NEVER use them again

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They have added Fuel up front option and explained that the amount will be returned if I return full tank. Well it never was. Their T&Cs state that they don't refund even when the employees explained otherwise.
I hope your pasta is never boiled right.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Waisted 1,5 hours of my holiday in a queue just to pick up the car key. Staff repeatedly asked for information I already had provided online from home to save time. They gladly offered me a car with summer tires even though my destination was the mountains in February. But for 'only €16 per day' I could get a winter ready car. Not commendable. The 2nd star is for the rapid return handling.
