We ordered 2 bruschettas and pasta, they were really tasty!!
So 5 STARS FOR THE CHEF
But 0 STARS FOR THE WAITERS. They had no coordination:
1. Between 1st and 2nd dishes, one waiter came to retire everything because he thought we finished lunch
2. Our waiter forgot the 2nd dish and we had to wait 1 hour since we ordered.
3. There were more waiters than customers when we were having lunch. So they cant say they were overcrowded for lasting so much time.
4. They didnt even apologise for being 1 hour late
5. They didnt even say thanks after paying

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We sat on the outside patio. This was a touristy place but the food was fantastic. I had the salad which was like an Italian/Greek salad. The buffalo mozzarella was also delicious. We were so happy to be out of the sun!! There was a slight breeze.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful cafe, we stayed in matera for just 2 nights, but came back to this cafe 4 times, the food absolutely delicious, the best pasta dish (with pumpkin) good coffee, wine, the location is stunning and the staff friendly. Highly Recommend this place.

From the terrace you have a nice view on the Piazza, an old church and the panorama of the canyon.
The food was very good and the waiters were nice. Even two cute red cats showed by.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We came to visit the Matera caves and found this nice place for lunch. A lot of amazing food and drinks.
We had the mixed plate and prosciutto appetizers and for mains we chose the home-made pasta, beef steak, caprese salad and another mixed salad.
All the food was great and they have a full bar with any drinks and coffee. Prices are very good for a restaurant in a very busy and touristy place.
