It is from the moment that I understood what hands we were in, that I wanted to write this review, well before having completed my journey of aromas and flavors, in a crescendo of taste and flavors. Thanks to Matteo and Irene for the welcome and the friendly guide on this pleasant journey comfortably seated in their fantastic location. A dinner for connoisseurs who want to dedicate a moment of culinary happiness. Thanks!

(P.S.rispetto a Google Street view è più avanti salendo sulla sinistra) A place outside the main stream, on the main Corso via Buozzi, offers in addition to the splendid wine of the Re Manfredi vineyards, excellent dishes, I highly recommend it! (P.S.rispetto to Google Street view is further up on the left)
5	50 Sfumature di viaggio & Scozia on the road on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mi sono fermata per pranzoare e assaggiare una tagliata, mentre il mio compagno mi ha tenuto compagnia bevendo un calice di vino, perchè non aveva fame. Il ristorante è molto grazioso ed è immerso nel rione dei sassi di Matera. Ci siamo accomodati in un tavolino subito fuori dall'ingresso, perchè il resto del locale era tutto prenotato ma abbiamo preferito così, almeno abbiamo respirato un pò d'aria fresca e goduto delle viste sulla città. Abbiamo ordinato: 2 calici di vino, 1 tagliata con peperone crusco (22 euro), 1 bottiglia d'acqua da 75ml (4 euro) e 2 caffè. La porzione di carne è stata un pò misera, era molto buona e cotta bene e il contorno di verdue molto ridotto (come si vede dalla foto). Nell'attesa ci hanno portato il piattino con i 4 assaggi che si vede in foto. L'attesa per la mia tagliata è stata di circa 30/40 minuti. Totale 46 euro. Abbiamo mangiato in diversi ristoranti proprio al centro di Matera e abbiamo trovato le porzioni un pò ristrette rispetto agli altri posti. Per il resto sono stati abbastanza cortesi e disponibili (non tutti). Peccato perchè location, cibo e locale sono decisamente graziosi. I stopped for lunch and try a tagliata, while my partner kept me company drinking a glass of wine, because he wasn't hungry. The restaurant is very nice and is immersed in the district of the stones of Matera. We sat down at a table just outside the entrance, because the rest of the place was fully booked but we preferred it that way, at least we breathed some fresh air and enjoyed the views over the city. We ordered: 2 glasses of wine, 1 sliced with crusco pepper (22 euros), 1 75ml bottle of water (4 euros) e 2 coffees. The portion of meat was a bit poor, it was very good and well cooked and the side of verdue very small (as you can see from the photo). While we waited, they brought us the saucer with the 4 tastings that you see in the photo. The wait for my tagliata was about 30/40 minutes. Total 46 euros. We ate in several restaurants right in the center of Matera and found the portions a bit small compared to other places. Otherwise they were quite courteous and helpful (not all). Too bad because the location, food and club are very nice.
