Entrando nella bottega si viene accolti dal sorriso di due "amici" pronti a farti rivivere 10 min di storia visitando la bottega stessa ed ascoltando la storia delle loro produzioni artigianali. Non si può non andare via senza un ricordo piacevole nel cuore ed un oggetto che rievochi con un solo sguardo l'incanto di quella giornata Magica che solo Matera può donarti. La "Pupa" antico dono per i bambini, originariamente fatta in cacio per alleviare le gengive doloranti dei bambini aiutandoli, con apporto di calcio, alla nascita e crescita dei dentini. I "presepi" sono uno squarcio di quella Matera antica che attende il bambinello, la perfezione con cui sono realizzati ti fanno immaginare di poter sentire qualche voce provenire da una di quelle casette, la frutta, gli oggetti realistici e ben proporzionati. Potrei scrivere per ore, tanto ci avete emozionato, concludo semplicemente invitandovi a continuare così siete unici. Non è la prima volta che acquistiamo in questo negozio nei Sassi e siamo sempre soddisfatti. Oggi abbiamo preso uno stampo per il pane che useremo per le nostre pagnotte, anche se imitare il pane di Matera e Altamura penso sia impossibile. Insomma, 5 stelle perché di più non si può! Ci sono infatti lavori in cartapesta, in terracotta, e tanti arredi antichi tipici dei rioni Sassi. Bellissimi i cucú grandi con tante decorazioni, le statuine dette pupe, di varie dimensioni, create con vestiti d'epoca. Abbiamo trovato molto interessanti anche i presepi. Complimenti!
