★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a terrible car hire company - they will scam you out of your €500 deposit by claiming there is a tiny scratch on the bumper. The staff are incredibly rude and dishonest. Pick up point is inconvenient. Cr*p company - zero star rating.

They make the same trick also to me
When I take the car it was many damages and scratches that wasn’t write on the contract
When I noticed ,I asked to to write all the scratches and the guy doesn’t write all
Better to pay a bit more instead rent from this company

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had great experience by renting a car from Joyrent Firence airport. Airport taxi came very fast and at the office was two handsome men, who served us professionaly and kindly. Car was clean and all that we expected. Return of the car was very simple and quick. We couldnt wish for better service. Grazie mille!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ OK car rent but their shuttlebus is a bit less organized than the shuttlebus of the other car rentals. Dont take the normal shuttlebus! Wait for one from Joyrent. Dont expect very good English when you call them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ JoyRent provided an excellent service, even for very picky German costumers like us! Super fast transfer from and to the airport, friendly staff and our car was in very good condition! No hassle at all during pick up and drop off. We would use this service again anytime!

After 1 week no problems with giving back the car. Perfect

Upon arrival it took us 20 minutes to reach them to send a shuttle. If you don't have methods to call, you can't reach them. One number was invalid, the other was busy for a long time .
We got the cars in dark, at 8 pm. We checked them out as well as we could in the dark.
Nothing happened during the trip in 2 weeks. At return they pointed out a scratch we could barely see I daytime. They found some other minor I'm not sure what, and charged 256 euros for damages. They used clothes to wipe car and the first guy even tried to find some invisible damage on the other car, too.
Interestingly, they found the damages on the car that we had full insurance on.
On our argument that there's no way to see this in the dark the answer was that we should then arrive in daytime.
We're very seasoned travelers, and by far this has been the worst car rental experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had an awful and violent experience renting with Joyrent in Firenze.
We paid for a medium car, but they provided a worse car saying that both cars had similar category. However according to their website, the car they provided us was 30% cheaper than our car.
The fuel level for that car was not full (only 80% of the total fuel was provided) and they said that it was a mistake from the fuel reader of the car. We asked them how to proceed and they told me to give back the car full of fuel and we will see how the fuel reader would be 80% instead of 100%. Once we refueled the car, surprise, the fuel reader was 100% of its capacity!!!
So, we claimed in the office to get the fuel difference back and the same for providing a worse and cheaper car than the one we paid. Then the front desk person behavior was extremely rude and even not only verbally but also psychically aggressive.
This person shouted to me in front of other clients so close in my face, after I left the office and even he hit my boyfriend's head and his chest at the same time he pushed my boyfriend outside the office. We got so frightened for our physical integrity that even a couple of police had to come to take care of the situation.
We don’t understand how that aggressive person can be dealing with clients!!!
We strongly recommend to avoid renting with this aggressive people from Joyrent.
