i	in funk we trust74 haute-savoie on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2 bad cappucino for 6€. A rip off. Don’t go there. 3 times more expensive than anywhere else in Matera.
H	Harpreet Lhoste on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Do not eat here! Awful food, awful service. Vegetable pasta = over cooked pasta with a tin of chick peas and half a bottle of oil. This is the worst restaurant I have been to in a long time. And not cheap!
C	Caroline Salen on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Probably the worst "cheese cold cuts" I ever got served (one of the cheeses was the already shredded cheese that cheap places throw on pizza), which was served with a non-smile as if I was bothering them for being there. Even the prosecco was lousy - served in red wine glasses.
K	Katy Montgomerie on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fawltissimo Towers: one of the funniest lunches I've ever had. First we were told that "pizza was impossible" (the sign says Trattoria Pizzeria). The waiter then started taking our orders, just before he got to the last person he walked off, got his phone out, called someone, and walked out the restaurant. Someone else came over and gave us more menus then walked off. At this point we were crying with laughter. Suddenly someone on another table's chair collapsed and they fell on the floor, not funny on its own, but I was struggling to breathe. Some of our party gave up and went elsewhere. Finally they took our order and eventually brought it out. The waiter from earlier bought out two plates, then he got in a car and drove off. €8 for a tiny plate of pasta, one of the beers was inexplicably smaller than the rest. The actual food was nice, but eating it only took up 1% of the time we were here. Whilst we were waiting for the bill (which took ages) we looked up the other Google reviews, I would say all the 1 star ones aren't exaggerations, however they don't capture the hilarious side to this restaurant. Overall definitely a worthwhile experience, but treat it more as a comedy performance than a meal out. I left hungry, but I cried most of my makeup off! Ps the toilet doesn't have a seat

After a quick glance at the menu we knew it was overpriced but we had just climbed up from lower Matera and wanted a quick drink to recuperate, according to the menu a small beer (birra Picolo was around €3-4, normal price in other places around Matera would be perhaps €2), but again we were thirsty and didn't want to get up again, but then when the bill came it was €5,5 for the beer, and €3,5 (menu said €3) for a cola, so €20 for 4 regular drinks, outrageous, just a few hours earlier we had had a great lunch with drinks for 4 for €50 at la bruschetta!! On top of that it wasn't even the nicest place to sit, the beers came in differently sized, utky glasses, which were only filled to about 3/4, had no foam collar and it wasn't even tasty beer!! To add insult to injury the toilet had no toilet seat, no dryer and a lock that barely worked. Worst experience in Matera, to avoid at all costs! They should be ashamed of themselves. Only reason why we didn't go complain is that we were in a hurry to see the rest of Matera.
S	Stephan Makintaya on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Avoid this place. Service was terrible. I don't know if they don't like Americans... Or if they don't like men... Or men dining solo... Or whatever... I felt unwelcome. To bwgin with the staff are indistinguishable from others. No uniforms, name tags, or aprons. They didn't speak English. They have a translated menu, but of limited use. All other tables received a basket of bread, but not me. I ordered a salad with my meal but never got it, and was still charged for it. Of course I explained I never received the salad so they removed it from the bill. They charge a 2 Euro service fee to all tickets. I had to wait longer for my check than I did to order, receive, and eat my meal. The food wasn't good either. Tasted like it came out of a can. Stay away! Happy travels!
P	P T on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Only checked the reviews after tucking into our food...own fault. Food was the worst we had during our week in Italy. The pasta dishes had some starchy sauces smothered over them. Flavours were a mix of bland, burnt and bitter. Lady serving us was friendly though and they had decent free WiFi...otherwise I can't recommend this place.
D	Donato Scarano on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quality of food and portions served were horrible! appalling service! 8 euro for a portion of pasta with tomato that was clearly a leftover and that would suit a baby, they served a pizza that was completely burnt asked to change it and the chef served it personally again with an annoyed attitude and no sorry, it was not burnt this time but quality was bad again, on top he put half of the toppings that were present on the previous pizza, we asked for grilled aubergine and they were served stone cold, furthermore we felt sick shortly after leaving this place, the worst restaurant in Matera so far and strongly reccomend everyone to avoid it!
