★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Definitely the least enjoyable meal we've had in Matera. Leisurely doesn't quite begin to describe the slow pace of service. €1.50 per person service charge too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There appeared to be some sort of negotiation/dispute between front of house and management at one of the tables inside, to the point where they ignored me at the counter. The cook was left to handle orders and table service. All things considered he did OK although speed was not his forte.
In the end it was a bit of fun watching how slowly he could move. Almost glacial. He clearly did not want to be there.
Pizzas were OK and filling. An annoying accordion player keep buzzing around like a fly. Possibly because we were a couple. We tried "no" in several languages before he moved on.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst bar in the square. They don't show the price list and at the end they make you pay the price they want with nothing written on the ticket (3€ for an ice tea in a can...). The service is the worst, they don't say hello nor goodbye, they ignore you when you want to order... There are plenty of nice bars in the city, do not ever go to this one.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best pizzas my family and I have had during our holidays in Italy! Yes the service was a little slow but we enjoyed the rest after a lot of walking around. We also all had a gelato each which was amazing. Again, a lot tastier than previous gelatos. A big thumbs up from my family!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very overpriced for the small portions we received (two small coffee granitas and a lemon granita costed 11€)! The coffee granitas were disappointing, however the lemon granita was not that bad. The place-keeper issued no receipt for our bill. Some of the items had no price tags. The toilet was very unkept and unhygienic (in times of Corona). Do NOT recommend.
