β β β β β We checked into the hotel only to find that the room was incredibly hot. Due to the warm temperature outside, opening the windows did nothing to cool the room. The air conditioning unit was also not working. When I went to the front desk to ask if they would be able to help turn on my room's air conditioning unit, I was informed the air conditioning was not working and that it could not be fixed. When I inquired if there was different room with air conditioning we could switch to, I was informed there was no actually air conditioning within the hotel and no other rooms were available. I then asked for a refund for my reservation and was denied. The room looked "tired", there were scratches and chipped paint on the walls, it didn't appear as a clean room ready to be moved in. I strongly recommend not to stay in this hotel.

β β β β β Unprofessional conduct, although polite and friendly! Here is my story of three days there:
When I was checking in,the A/C was already broken and no one told me! It was only after a few hours and my complaint that they acknowledged it. They promised it to be fixed by the end of my first day's stay, but didn't happen. Long story short, it didn't get fixed for the 2nd night either! I had a single room on the first floor and had to leave the windows open in the August heat. Since the hotel is pretty central, the street was really loud until after midnight. I didn't have a decent stay for the first two days. In all fairness, they politely granted me a 40% discount for the first two nights.
For the third night, I demanded to be moved to a different room with a functioning A/C and they put me in this double room for the price of a single room which was a nice gesture. Nonetheless, the toilet flush was nearly broken, the bidet was blocked, and the shower head was broken. I didn't feel like complaining anymore! I expected more from a Florence hotel.
Good things: great location, polite staff, clean rooms.
P.s. the wifi is pretty much non-existent in the rooms. Only in the lobby you get some signal!

β β β β β The hotel is cheap, clean, well located and the staff friendly. The breakfast is correct (the coffee machine might need a clean!)
The major inconvenience (in our room at least) would have to the noise coming from the pipes and the general sound insulation.

β β β β β The hotel was right in the centre. It was well equipped, new air-condition was convenient in hot days, bed is so comfortable that I claim it was my best sleep in hotel ever. Hotel continental breakfast was the other best experience in this hotel as there is plenty of delicious items you could wonder (do not expect hot eggs) with the pretty view of the city. As the hotel is right in the centre you can explore all the main venues within minutes of walk. Reception staff was friendly and can organise secured parking for you too. Well recommended.
