G	Graham_89 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nel cuore di Spello, a pochi passi dalla Chiesa di Sant'Andrea e quindi proprio sulla passeggiata principale del paesino - impossibile non trovarlo. Il locale si presenta davvero bene: i tavoli all'esterno sono molto numerosi, tutti circondati da alcuni alberi e qualche siete. Ai primi sono spesso attaccate lampade riscaldanti, quindi anche in momenti in cui le temperature si abbassano, rendono la permanenza piacevole. Il menù è molto "turistico", non molto lungo (probabilmente anche per via della cucina non molto grande).. crostini, vassoi di salumi o formaggi, alcuni primi (fra cui anche un paio di zuppe) e secondi vari (polpette, carpaccio e insalate). Fra i prodotti propongono anche la Torta al Testo con Affettati, tipica della zona. Come prezzi nel menù esposto ci sono sembrati abbastanza onesti, e spesso ci sono anche dei fuori menù. Molto probabilmente è stato proprio quest'ultimo a "fregarci": in DUE, abbiamo mangiato due piatti di crostini (quattro a piatto), UN primo del giorno (5 ravioloni ripieni di burrata con pomodoro fresco), due dolci (vin santo), acqua e caffé - NO vino - abbiamo superato i 40 euro di spesa. Ci ha un po' stupito.. quindi ATTENZIONE ai fuori menù! Ciò nonostante la qualità del cibo ci è piaciuta molto, il servizio è stato rapido e il personale super cortese. Aperto anche a pranzo, sconsiglio di recarcisi ad orario troppo tardo se non volete attendere troppo in piedi: come detto è un locale molto turistico e quindi molto frequentato. In the heart of Spello, a few steps from the Church of Sant'Andrea and therefore right on the main promenade of the village - impossible not to find it. The place looks really good: the tables outside are very numerous, all surrounded by some trees and some six. The former are often attached to heating lamps, so even in moments when the temperatures drop, they make your stay pleasant. The menu is very "touristy", not very long (probably also due to the not very large cuisine) .. croutons, trays of cold cuts or cheeses, some first courses (including a couple of soups) and various second courses (meatballs, carpaccio and salads). Among the products they also offer the Torta al Testo with Cold Cuts, typical of the area. As for the prices on the displayed menu, they seemed quite honest to us, and often there are also off-menus. Most likely it was the latter who "cheated" us: in TWO, we ate two plates of croutons (four per plate), A first of the day (5 ravioli stuffed with burrata with fresh tomato), two desserts (vin santo), water and coffee - NO wine - we have spent over 40 euros. It surprised us a bit .. so BEWARE of off-menus! However, we liked the quality of the food a lot, the service was quick and the staff super friendly. Also open for lunch, I do not recommend going there too late if you don't want to wait too long: as mentioned it is a very touristy place and therefore very popular.

Un vero peccato perché non abbiamo potuto arrivare al dolce. Staff gentilissimo. Menù non molto adatto ai vegetariani, nel complesso. Selection of fine cheeses; cappellacci that both Sara and I found heavy, however good. A pity because we couldn't get to dessert. Staff very kind. Menu not very suitable for vegetarians, on the whole.

Buono il servizio e la varietà di pietanze proposte, valide sia per uno spuntino, un pranzo o un aperitivo. Buon rapporto qualità/prezzo. Pleasant place for refreshment. Tables inside and outside, even heated during the cold seasons. Good service and the variety of dishes proposed, valid for a snack, lunch or an aperitif. Good quality / price ratio.

C	Christina Ernst on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Get lost in Spello and end up here! The coolest little place for dining. Food is excellent and the wine list is fabulous. So many options and everything is reasonably priced. We loved the staff, all were friendly and knowledgeable.
