★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We always love our times at Enoteca Properizo with Roberto and his son. It’s a lovely experience. From childhood best friends to my uncle’s dentist in Portland—this place keeps popping up as the best kept secret of Umbria. Went twice last summer and bringing my family back today for a third time! Excellent service and wine (shipped some back to SF).

This is a place to taste wine with accompanying appropriate food. Roberto the proprietor takes you through the wine tasting process and the freshly cooked food accompanies each wine.
We went as a group and had a table for ourselves. In between wine tasting they promote their wines and olive oil but there is no hard sell.
The setting is nice and there is outside seating.
Altogether a very nice experience in this town of Spello.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Most incredible food and greatest wine tasting experience in my two weeks in Italy. Extremely knowledgeable and friendly staff. Eight generations in the olive oil business, and it shows. Best tasting olive oil I've ever out in my mouth. Purchased many bottles of wine and four bottles of olive oil and had it shipped home in the States. Ordering more of it!

Home kitchen at its best. Very kind service good prices. Very recommended. Inside you have an amazing wineshop with good prices and all the best Italian wines.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great experience, delightful staff, food was really good and the wines are perfectly matched. They ship your wine to anywhere in the US and the UK apparently.
Prices were surprisingly low, the kind of bill you double check because it seems they forgot to add some of the wines.
I do recommend getting reservations.
