★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We spent 2 weeks in Spello with our 3 kids and ended up enjoying Marco (& team's) spectacular cuisine 3 times. Twice we used the take-away delivery service - which really is awesome so we can enjoy Michelin food at our holiday villa - ideal when you have small kids.
And topped it off just me and my partner at Marco's relaxed restaurant - epic meals - we will never forget - and will be back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A pleasant surprise in another cute , medieval Umbrian town Foligno. It is an ideal place to experience the best tastes of Umbria prepared by the famous Italiqn chef Marco Gubbiotti. This enoteca at the same time serves as a gastronomical laboratory and offers courses. Marco Gubbiotti is well known to those who follow Italy’s food scene. Marco used to run another successful restaurant in the nearby town of Spello named Bastiglia di Spello where he was awarded a Michelin star. Cucinaa reflects with its offerings that you are not at an ordinary place and everything carries a special taste. Aside from having a proper meal inside the enoteca, you can also have dozens of anti-pasto, the traditional examples of first course Italian meals at the adjacent shop which also offers a comfortable seating. The shop carries a great collection of wine. You can also buy ready to eat food and bring home. You can top your meal with icecream offered from the next door gelateria Amandola. Situated just outside Foligno , Cucinaa allows easy parking right in front of it.

Andrea, Alfred, Alessandra and the gang at Cucinaa catered our BJJ Globetrotters Castle Camp in Umbria for four days and each night was better than the last.
Not only were they all incredibly friendly and sociable, but the food the prepared and the way they presented it was out of this world. They cooked amazing steak, served various pastas, endless pizzas right out of an oven they brought to us, wine for days.. I really cannot express enough gratitude for the time and care this team out in for us in the kitchen and around the tables serving us.
I would feel fine downgrading every other 5/5 review to a 4/5 just to clarify how outstanding and above and beyond Andrea and the bunch were.
11/10. Grazie, grazie! And all the other Italian dialogue we shared ?
