Worst Rental Service So Far - I regret that I ignored all of the bad reviews here. I highly recommend that you keep away from this company. 1) Place was impossible to find. No signs or anything. Nobody near this business knew about it when we asked. They are basically operating out of a newspaper stand. car was standing in the middle of the road when we got it. 2) Rude and slow service. They were laughing at us in Italian while we filled the forms. We also had to wait almost an hour to get the car. The staff there does not speak english. The car was dirty with mud when we got it. I've never rented a dirty car before. 3) After we returned the car and everything was fine, they charged my credit card for 61 euros, two weeks after the rent was over. There must be better alternatives than this company in Rome.

Worst rental experience yet. Arrived at this location with the expectation of not having much trouble. The staff did not speak English fluently. They were short spoken and very rude with me and my wife as we waiting for them to clear us on a credit deposit (1,080 euros on top of an already deposited full coverage payment.) Made a phone call to sort things out and the staff went on a coffee break. One coworker had to walk down the street to get the assistant we had been speaking with. They then refused to do business with us. Do not rent from this location or green motion as a whole for that matter. Stick with a company who has better reviews and is up to date on rental policies. Don’t waste your time like we did.

This place is a total joke. The car pick up was scheduled for 07:00 am. However, the car rental agent appeared only at 07:30 am. No apology for late arrival was given. Upon inspection of my documents, the car rental agent told me that International Drivers Permit was required for car rental. Please note that I have a valid Canadian Drivers License. I have rented cars multiple times in France, Greece, and Slovenia, and I have never been asked for International Drivers Permit. Moreover, there was no information in the booking voucher about International Drivers Permit requirement.The rental agent told me that he was still able to give me a car but I needed to pay penalty in the amount of 61 EUR for absence of International Drivers Permit. I had to agree because due to agent's late appearance I was late with my travel plans. Moreover, since the reservation was prepaid, I had no choice other than paying the penalty. Otherwise I would have to pay late cancellation fee which was 100% of car rental cost. In any case, I don't believe that this charge is either reasonable or legal. If according to company's policy I cannot drive a car without IDP, this should be clearly mentioned in the booking voucher, and the car rental should not be granted. In my case I believe the agency just took advantage out of the situation. Charging 61 EUR for absence of IDP for a 1 day rental that costed 59 EUR was exorbitant and not fair. This clearly doesn't create a good impression of the company.

Worse experience ever! They wanted to charge us $1,080 EUROS deposit to have the car for 24 hours and we had already paid full coverage of the car. We stayed there for hours, none of them spoke English, they didn't take Discover card (Diners Club) and after we calling our bank to accept the transaction, they REFUSED to do business with us. Not mentioning that in the middle of the transaction they went for a coffee break, zero respect for customers. We had to go to the Termini and get a waaaay better deal from Avis/Budget that offered full coverage and didn't request any crazy amount of deposit. Ahh... and they speak many languages if you don't speak Italian, specially English, take any card and treat you well. Please avoid this place if you can.

The price is good, easy to reach the office and the stuff was mostly nice. why only 3-stars? because the way they handled the following situation: we got a smart car, popular car in italy. and planned to drive to Napoli (not on the fast toll road). after an hour of driving suddenly i couldn't accelerate and the brakes almost didn't work (had to push them very hard and it took the car a while to stop) a very scary moment for any driver. we were in the middle of nowhere, stuck. we called the Green Motion office 10 times and didn't receive any answer until we reached Green Motion headquarters which gave us the number of smart company. lucky for us there was a Mechanic just few meter from us. so we were able to take the car there and fix it. it was a system malfunction (no ones fault) but our day was ruined (it took more than 4 hours) .. we were too tired to countinio to Napoli. we called the office asking to return the car and pick it up a different day and not only that they didn't accept this. they told us that if we returned the car we won't get any compensation. we were pretty shock from this treatment, we literally took the car to a mechanic and also need to pay for it??!! no serious company should treat their customers this way. the least they could do is give us something in return for the lost day, a free renting day next time/ free second driver/ money back for the day... we would have rent more times from them if we didn't saw how they treat their customers

Very hard to locate as the business is not advertised from the outside and they are actually located in a news stand. Car was handed to us dirty with a number of previous scratches and dints - however did get an upgrade on my booking. Unfortunately scratched the rear bumper bar and they charged me 400 euro for it (fair enough as it is in the contract) however they also charged another 65 euro without my knowledge and without explanation or documentation- efforts to receive an explanation or rebate have so far been useless - beware!!

Worst business. Never be deceived by low prices. The company uses all sorts of ways to tear off the customer's money when returning the car. Below is the worst experience I've had. First, the vehicle was to be completely filled with oil and offered to me, but it didn't. And I put oil in to return the vehicle, but the oil sensor was broken. I filled up the oil completely, but the sensor did not work. Second, I had the company's full cover insurance, and when I got the car, the employee did not check with me for damage to the car. However, when returning the vehicle, another employee found the fine damage and turned it to my responsibility. And charged me an administrative fee of € 61. This is their technique. I talked to the car return staff about the previous day's staff but it didn't work at all. They are organized. If you use this branch to save some money, it will be remembered as the worst travel experience.

Read the reviews before going anywhere near them. Seriously, this place is a scam! They fool you with low prices and then find ways to charge you twice the price of the rental, they are rude and professional thieves. Just read the reviews and if you value your money and time choose literally anyone else
