★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have used the lake Como ferry service frequently on our visits. It is the most scenic way of visiting the towns and villages on the lake. The buses may well be cheaper.

What a shame!

During covid, staff tell people to have FFP2 mask until you get on the ship, but they also tell you that you can take it off onboard because no police get onboard. Any other mask is not acceptable. SIMPLY RIDICULOUS!! The 1st time we used this they missed one trip from the schedule. The 2nd time a car did not start upon arrival at Menaggio and stuck the whole ferry because the boat is too narrow with no option in case of emergency
