★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Waited 45 minutes in the queue to be told at the kiosk they were no longer selling returns. We joined the queue shortly after 2pm, so make sure you get here early. Staff were worse than useless, they should've been informing people of this in the queue, can only imagine it would be far worse in high season

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sunday 24 Apr 2022 huge lines to buy tickets, 1 hour waiting time and for some boats there are even no more tickets left! Only 1 out if 3 ticket desks opened and some people are even skipping the line without repercussions. Worst organisation ever!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible service. Slow queue and absolutely no information available. We got to the front of the queue after 45 minutes of waiting to be told that the boat for the rest of the day was sold out. Could really be improved with someone informing the queue or even a sign stating what was still available e.g. one way journeys. A website with a clear timetable and the ability to purchase tickets would also be of use, alongside some e-ticket machines. If coming in high season I would go early if you want to do a return trip in order to avoid disappointment.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best option for economical and amazing ferry rides across lake Como. We bought a full day ferry ticket which cots 25 euros each but its a hop on hop off pass. You can start your trip from Como and go until the beautiful villages of Varenna and Mannagio.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Officers do not provide sufficient information relating to the service and the timetables available are misleading. The boats used are very old with plastic windows, pity we couldn't see the beauty of the lake.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ we got the rapid boat tickets. the schedules are slightly confusing, so a large group managed to cut the queue in front of me by telling us they were scheduled for the earlier boat, but turned out to board the same fast boat. we then only managed to get bottom level seats, where you could not see the lake and mountains through the plastic windows due to them being old and blurred.
second fast boat ride was good as no one cut the line in the early morning, and the seats at the top level had clearer windows.
the €1 toilets at the ticket office were not clean, so i would suggest you to wait for your boat and use the free toilet in there as it may be cleaner.
positives: the beautiful view of the lake from the piers.
