★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La deliziosa fontana del Nettuno, è ubicata a Via Tasso e fa parte del Palazzo Ruggi d'aragona, risalente all'epoca longobarda e, in seguito, ristrutturato nel 1700. La fontana occupa una nicchia nel cortile interno dell'edificio. Il suo impianto architettonico è Monumentale e di evidente derivazione dallo stile rococò. Molto interessante la statua del Dio Nettuno, circondata dalle onde marine, finemente cesellata. Ne consiglio la visita!
The delightful fountain of Neptune is located in Via Tasso and is part of the Ruggi d'Aragona Palace, dating back to the Lombard era and later renovated in the 1700s. The fountain occupies a niche in the internal courtyard of the building. Its architectural structure is monumental and clearly derived from the rococo style. Very interesting is the statue of the God Neptune, surrounded by sea waves, finely chiseled. I recommend a visit!

Il palazzo Ruggi d’Aragona, costruito a fine del Cinquecento e ristrutturato nel Settecento, è il più grande del centro storico ed è stato testimone di vicende storiche importanti per Salerno.

The Ruggi d’Aragona palace, built at the end of the sixteenth century and renovated in the eighteenth century, is the largest in the historic center and has witnessed important historical events for Salerno.
