 Colonna di San Marco, was erected by the Venetians in 1523 on the occasion of the restoration of their tutelage over the city. It is a beautiful work of art that gives more value to the central square of the old town.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Saint Marco lion statue in Verona is a beautiful statue which is beautifully crafted. The saint Marco square is the place where there are lot of buildings and you can find lot of people roaming. I have posted a picture too of the square where a man was showing his talent, a magical one and collecting donations from the people he is entertaining to. A nice busy place but still worth the trip if you ever had a chance to be there.
