★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Un gioiellino! Da vedere assolutamente. La mostra spazia dal classico al moderno in ambienti accattivanti e coinvolgenti. Bellissima la vista su Piazza delle Erbe. Da veronese ne sono orgoglioso.

 A little gem! A must see. The exhibition ranges from classic to modern in captivating and engaging environments. The view of Piazza delle Erbe is beautiful. As a Veronese I am proud of it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is an outstanding museum, extremely well selected and curated works, both historical and modern. Very well worth visiting, and located centrally off Piazza delle Erbe. Give yourself lots of time to see the extensive collection. In a beautiful historic building.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Palazzo Maffei Casa Museo is hosted in the astonishing 17th century baroque palace overlooking the majestic medieval “Piazza Erbe”. It hosts a newly renovated museum with an incredibly wide range of different artworks from Roman sculptures to Andy Warhol’s pop art and Futurism. Most notably a beautiful white marble head sculpture of the Roman emperor Marco Aurelio 2nd century AD, Pablo Picasso’s “Femme assise” 1953, Warhol’s “One Multicolored Marylin” 1979, Giorgio De Chirico’s “Il saluto dell’amico lontano” 1916, Lucio Fontana’s “Concetto Spaziale, Attesa” 1961. Absolutely worth the ticket (13.50€ Adults). Tip: Admire the helix-shaped spiral staircase which does not have any central support, similar to the worldwide famous Bramante’s 16th century Vatican museums one. A pure architectural marvel.
