R	Renato B . on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bellissimo paese con un centro storico molto bello, con i suoi vicoli numerati e le bellissime abitazioni. Da dietro il castello si ammira un panorama stupendo. Non siamo riusciti a visitare il castello... poche foto x dare qualche indizio, non il meglio, e il resto tutto da scoprire... consiglio vivamente la visita! Beautiful country with a very beautiful historic center, with its numbered alleys and beautiful houses. From behind the castle you can admire a wonderful panorama. We were unable to visit the castle ... a few photos to give some clues, not the best, and the rest to be discovered ... I highly recommend the visit!

Una vera oasi di pace. E con i colori autunnali il paesaggio è semplicemente meraviglioso. Montemagno and its castle (unfortunately only visible from the outside) are little gems immersed in the marvelous gentle hills of Monferrato. A true oasis of peace. And with the autumn colors the landscape is simply wonderful.

Dobbiamo ringraziare il sindaco e un assessore di Montemagno perché quando abbiamo parcheggiato nella piazza dove erano state installate due colonnine per la ricarica di auto elettriche, si sono avvicinati per chiederci info sulla nostra macchina elettrica, e da quel momento in poi ci hanno accompagnato per una visita al Paese di Montemagno, che dire, grazie dell'ospitalità e per il tempo che ci avete dedicato. Beautiful castle, unfortunately not open to visitors because it is private. We have to thank the mayor and a councilor of Montemagno because when we parked in the square where two columns for charging electric cars had been installed, they approached us to ask us for info on our electric car, and from that moment on they accompanied us for a visit to the town of Montemagno, what can I say, thank you for the hospitality and for the time you have dedicated to us.

Solo in poche occasioni è consentita la visita. C’è una bellissima passeggiata che si può fare e gira intorno al castello!! This castle dominates the beautiful town of Montemagno from above and all the hills around it, too bad we could not visit it as it is private! Visits are allowed only on a few occasions. There is a beautiful walk that you can take and go around the castle !!

J	Janet Marletto on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is still occupied by the Count of Conti whose presence is indicated by the flag flying. I have had the rare privilege of being invited inside once in 1972. I took photos from the tower above the circular courtyard. It is truly magical to enter a fairy tale castle of the 15th or 16th century. ( initiated in 11th C at the time of the Crusades.)The vicolo is being preserved contrary to uninformed comments. The sad demise of splendid vineyards on the facing hillside due to the exodus of younger generations deprives us of spectacular moscato, barbera, nebbiolo, fresia and more. Peccato.
