Sólo pudimos ver su patio, entrada y alrededores. Parece no estar abierto al público. Le falta mantenimiento. The majesty that it had in its time and the views that can be seen of the area from its entrances are impressive. We could only see its patio, entrance and surroundings. It appears not to be open to the public. It lacks maintenance.
M	Mara on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Piacevole ma non eccelso. Ideale per una gita fuori porta se si è nei paraggi. Aperto di sabato e domenica, è possibile mangiare un discreto gelato artigianale in terrazza. I proprietari molto gentili e disponibili. Pleasant but not excellent. Ideal for a trip out of town if you are nearby. Open on Saturdays and Sundays, it is possible to eat a decent homemade ice cream on the terrace. The owners very nice and helpful.

Una visita guidata dal proprietario Alessandro stupenda, perché ci ha fatto fare un viaggio nella storia. Bellezza, fascino, storia ed arte insieme un connubio vincente. Infine una degustazione dell'ottimo gelato accompagnato da un bellissimo concerto a pianoforte. Il panorama magico. Splendid location, one of the oldest castles of the Monferrato. A visit guided by the wonderful owner Alessandro, because he made us take a journey through history. Beauty, charm, history and art together a winning combination. Finally a tasting of the excellent ice cream accompanied by a beautiful piano concert. The magical landscape.

Abbiamo gustato anche un ottimo gelato artigianale. Imposing castle with a panoramic terrace overlooking the Monferrato hills and the Alessandria plain. We also enjoyed an excellent homemade ice cream.

S	Stefano Masnaghetti on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Imponente castello che domina il borgo e le colline circostanti, la cui origine databile quantomeno al X Secolo lo rende una delle architetture difensive più antiche del Monferrato giunta sino a noi. Ovviamente la costruzione odierna è il frutto di varie riedificazioni compiute nel corso di un millennio: parzialmente raso al suolo dagli spagnoli all'inizio del Seicento, venne totalmente ristrutturato quasi un secolo dopo dalla famiglia Gozani. Oggi il suo giardino interno ospita un chiosco in cui si può acquistare un ottimo gelato artigianale. Imposing castle that dominates the village and the surrounding hills, whose origin datable at least to the 10th century makes it one of the oldest defensive architectures of Monferrato that has come down to us. Obviously, today's construction is the result of various reconstructions carried out over the course of a millennium: partially razed by the Spaniards at the beginning of the seventeenth century, it was totally renovated almost a century later by the Gozani family. Today its internal garden houses a kiosk where you can buy an excellent homemade ice cream.

L'edificio si trova in pessime condizioni: l'erbaccia cresce dappertutto, in alcune finestre al posto dei vetri ci sono pezzi di legno. Sulla targa vicino al cancello era scritto B&B. Magari, dentro è più bello che fuori. Comunque, per gli amanti della storia medievale, come me, potrebbe essere una bella trovata. From a distance this huge castle is very beautiful, but up close it is not. The building is in very bad condition: weeds grow everywhere, in some windows instead of glass there are pieces of wood. The plaque near the gate read B&B. Maybe it's more beautiful inside than outside. However, for lovers of medieval history, like me, it could be a good idea.
