We loved our stay here. It was every more beautiful than advertised and the service surpassed all expectations. Giovanni (manager) took excellent care of us and made sure every detail of our stay was fit to our liking. We arrived late at night and he had dinner arranged in our room with their wine and everything! We were so pleased with every aspect of our stay and were stunned by their commitment to accommodating us. Giovanni speaks perfect English and Italian as well. We had a wonderful wine tour and tasting, great picnic, and yummy dinner. All our experiences were reasonably priced (wine tour was 10 euros per person and picnic was 20 per person). The restaurant had pretty good dinner! Good home cooked food. Check it out if youโ€™re ever looking for an easy, restful weekend near Turin or Milan!

Couple of points: +++: ideal location, call and peaceful Breakfast and dinner were tasty, nice discovery of some local products Amazing room with lots of cachet Wine tasting, visit of the cellar and explanation of the origins of the castle. Friendly and available staff. - - -: i have to put some negative points for clarity and feedback purposes: You do not sleep in the castle as per say since the ยซย marquisย ยป and itโ€™s family still love there. Nevertheless, the sleep II the old dependencies of the castle are exquisite and cozy. The swimming pool was unfortunately not available during our stay since it only opens beginning of June. It would have been nice to have this information available upon reservation. So worth asking when booking. Also good to note you cannot check in after 18h. All in all, I do strongly recommend the stay. This hotel does deserve to visited and the slight negative points are more of a constructive feedback to improve communication and transparency of information that should be added to the website. We will definitely come back and book another stay if the opportunity presents itself in the future.

Amazing place with the best staff. Giovanni and Frederico were beyond accommodating and helpful! The restaurant staff were equally friendly and accommodating. The food was outstanding! The grounds and rooms are very well kept. Our room was absolutely comfortable, best shower I've ever had in Europe. The wine is amazing as well!

I think it should be more clear on the website that you cannot go into the castle. However, breakfast was wonderful and the room was very nice!

We spent last Halloween weekend in this medieval borough. It has been a very relaxing experience. If you are looking for a quiet place, with almost anything but nature all around you, well: you just found the right place for you! Lorenzo, Giorgia, Andrea , Nadia and all the Staff will treat you with a yesteryears courtesy. You'll immediately feel at home. Ok: there isn't a Spa or a pool but the accomodation is really nice: our room was wide, comfortable and clean. We really appreciated the two fireplaces (one each room) and the baskets of dry wood that Lorenzo prepared for us everyday: it has turned a rainy weekend in a shiny one! You may have a nice continental breakfast with fresh products and, obviously, lunch and/or dinner at the "I tre orologi" restaurant: the kitchen is managed by two young chefs they are proposing traditional dishes with a modern twist. We liked it. You also may found some wines produced with the grapes growing all around the castle: they do not reach yet the quality of their older brothers, the Barolo or Barbaresco produced not too far in the Langa, but they surely worth the money they ask for. If you are a countryside lover you may enjoy a walk among the oaks, the elms and the Linden trees, looking for the valuable Alba's White truffle with the help of Angelo and his trustworthy and tireless Lagotto romagnolo Attila: maybe not this year, which has been awful for the truffle, but who knows? As they say "luck is blind"! Finally: do you want to find your own rithm once again and recharge your batteries? Think about a place like this!

As a start of our Honeymoon, this was just the best place you can think of. Typical Piemonte ancient castle with very friendly staff, nice and clean rooms and a delicious restaurant. We also enjoyed the wine tour/tasting. Would definitely visit again.

Amazing view and castle. Although you live outside of the castle it is still breathtaking. Unique experience. There is not that much non alcohol or vegetarian options in the hotel and be aware that the restaurants in the small city and in the hotel is not open from afternoon until dinner.
