★ ★ ★ ★ ★ honestly one of the worst places to rent cars from as a tourist or as a local. The waiting was about an hour as they are incredibly slow and we waited another two hours for the car alone! this together means we waited a total of 3 hours before we got even shown our car. At first they switched our audi suv for a mercedes as apparently there were no more audi's, then they could not locate the mercedes and left us waiting blantly for 2 hours with no correspondence to us at all (terrible customer service may i say) and finally they switched in for us another audi in which was not as good as the one we booked but by that time we were so fed up we just took the car and drove off. DO NOT LET THE PRICES FOOL YOU

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ NO INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO PAY ITALIAN FINES.
They charged us 45 euros to sent us a letter saying we had an Italian traffic ticket. All the numbers provided in the letter didn't work, no idea how to pay the fine ....
Their help lines doesn't work. I had to call 5 times before anyone picked up. When they answered they were incredibly unhelpful and provided no help whatsoever. Each time I call, their help line breaks at different moments.
Still can't pay my Italian traffic ticket.

I was charged $430 for one defective tire that I noticed the next day and returned the vehicle back to them and they said no problem only to charge my car the next week.
I am never doing business with them or budget in general

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I rented a car from them, at the arrival they would not honor the car class booking! I had no other choice other than accepting it. As i go to pick up the car, the front had a massive dent so I made sure they are aware of it and took pictures, now after a month i receive a bill to the tune of $1100. For the damages that was there prior to my renting.
These guys are dishonest and crooks to the max! Budget car rental and Avis are the same counter in Milan MXP.
Stay away from this trap!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don't drop off your car here. I picked my car from Linate airport and told them I will drop it at Malpensa Airport. I dropped it off before 12 hours but I am still being charged for 2 days and I left car full of gas but they charged me for gas. There are other extras airport surcharge they are charging me without my permission. I would suggest DON'T RENT CAR from them. It is a total rip off. I am trying to contact them but they won't pick my call or reply back to my e-mails. I am going to go to court as they have charged me crazy amount of $496 whereas it should be only 50 euros. it was just a basic simple car.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The worst car I ever rented. When I collected it, it had not been cleaned on the inside, just plain dirty. Plus it smelled like someone had been smoking in it.
Further it had a number of technical issues:
- The break pads were worn, as it made a terrible sounds when breaking, plus I could smell it when going downhill for a longer period.
- There was a problem with one of the wheel bearings, as the car had a constant buzzing noise when driving.
- And last the windscreen wipers were completely worn, and had no effect whatsoever in the rain.
- Felt like the car could break doen any minute, therefore drove it as little as possible.
You would expect a respectable company like Budget to thoroughly check their cars before handing it over, and not leave their clients with worn out cars and potential breakdowns.
Don't think I will rent from Budget again. At least not from Milan Airport.

Untrusted at all , employe behavior is unacceptable at all with every single word i say she turn her face to her colleague and start talking in Italian.
, for them you are just a cash cow to be milked.
They added 500 euros to my contract ! and gave me a car from different category
( smaller ) (from 830 euros to 1380!!! )

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ BEWARE terminal 1 is closed!!!! My place for returnal was in T1 in my agreement - and when we arrived it’s totally abandoned, there are banners with directions but all is closed!!! I’ve lost 30 minutes!!! to figure out second location in T2 - and almost late on my plane because of that, so I had no time to make tax refund.
