4 stars for the Airport itself, Ryanair Staff at the gate rude and not informed on rules. The Staff (only one lady at the gate) "ON THE GATE b2" Bari to London Stansted - Flight number FR1906 14th March 2022 @21:30 - was shouting at me because i was with a surgical mask instead of a FFP2 mask, treating me like an idiot. I kindly said to the lady that an FFP2 mask is required if travelling in Italy not abroad and the Ryanair confirmation email confirmed that both masks were fine. I was wearing a surgical mask because is easier for me to breath. She didn't listen to me saying that "i don't respect the rules" intimating me to buy a mask or remain in Italy. I bought an FFP2 mask to be allowed on board. Once on board the kind Ryanair staff were wearing a surgical mask, and said to everyone that FFP2 were "N O T" required. I wish to report the lady responsible for the boarding at the gate. Many Thanks

Just an ordinary Airport with not a lot of shops. The tax free is expensive. The security was effective. Good with places to sit down. Toilets misses the ring so you should not base to do serous stuff here.

Very easy to take a flight to your destination.

No chance for an ‘overnight’ here. The chairs are designed to suffer only. We took the last bus from Bari, but turned out, that was a bad decision, because we couldn’t even get through the security check. To get something to eat was only those terrible Automat machines with some chocolate and tuna sandwiches. At least the chairs would be made for laying down a little bit…

Had to take public transport to Monopoli after returning car. Bus has stopped running as it was Easter Monday. Asked the service counter at the entrance on how to get to Monopoli with trains/metro, a very helpful young man explained I can catch a 5.51pm to Bari Centrale and change to a different company to catch the last service of the day to Monopli at 6.18pm. He explained clearly I would have only 8 minutes to take the change. He suggested I don't try to buy the next ticket before boarding but buy the ticket onboard and show the train master my Bari airport ticket so I don't get charge the penalty rate. With his explanation and google map, I was able to figure out the change at Bari Centrale station and got onto the last train to Monopoli. Otherwise, I would either have to stay the night or book a car, both expensive options. The station itself was clean and easy to navigate. The announcements were in Italian and English.

Very clean and smooth running airport. It’s a “small” airport compared to those in bigger cities, but it has nice restaurants, bookstores, and plenty of places to sit and wait for your flight. The bathrooms are mostly clean, and are easily accessible. Security check left a lot to be desired. It did not appear anyone cared about what was in our pockets or our luggage.

Small airport in the south of Italy. There are not too many things to do in the airport, also doesn’t look clean unfortunately, but it’s quite ok comparing with other airports. Avoid the toilets, are very dirty. Good connection with Bari by train or bus.

The airport is small and fine to travel to and from. ? Beware of the bus tickets... The price should be 1€ but due to covid, you can't buy them in a bus. Not even at the ticket counter on the 1st floor (usually closed). ? But at the RELAY "book store" on the 1st floor (also closed) which lacks any logic. Ignore the bus tickets and sit in a bus anyway. Nobody will check or give a fak about it. It's Italia, amigo. ?? ? Train station is about 5 min walk from the airport and you can get to the city within 15 minutes for 5€. Strongly recommended. It's hassle free and you are not packed in a full bus with locals for 40 minutes.
