The experience was good. I liked being able to check in in advance and submit all my documents. THe staff were friendly. The car was excellent and in very good condition. The whole process was seamless and easy

?By far the worst rental I have ever made - spare you self and stay away! Updated info: Avis did get back on my PM. Still claiming a Toyota and a Mercedes is exact the same class and same price and value for money. Judge for yourself - I strongly disagree. I urge you to read the other reviews below before choosing Avis, not a recommended choose. And there is about 8 other car rental companies at the exact same address - so choose a decent company - for you own sake?‍♂️ And yes I have rented a lot of cars, and this is not normal customer care. This is scam and illegal. Avis: β€œHi Bjarne, thank you for your patience. Please allow me to explain that you booked group of cars not a specific model and Mercedes-Benz A-Class was only an example. You can find the specification of the reserved group I below: - 5 seats - 3 bags - 5 doors - Automatic - Air Condition - Petrol/Diesel I can confirm that you drove the car from the same group as reserved. Should you have any questions, feel free to contact us. Kind regards Przemekβ€œ ***** Booked a Mercedes A class - ended up with a Toyota C-HR after refusing a Fiat Panda. Avis insisted a Fiat Panda and a C-HR and a Mercedes is the exact same class and price? I would like to take the question to Mercedes and ask them if they agree ? If - Mercedes please lower the price on your cars?‍♂️ But blame it on my self - note to my self - NEVER EVER chose Avis again. -1 ⭐️

I needed a 7 passenger van and ordered a 7 passenger van-when I picked up my car at a Budget satellite office, it was a mid-size SUV for 5 people and little luggage-I asked for a trade-up and they said it was the biggest they had-yet I paid a premium for the van and at times had to stuff 6 people and 4 luggage in it-was a horrible experience-I have photos and want a full refund

Pretty awful and reckless company. The car which they provided had a serious issue with one of the tyre's. They tried to get us to drive it (100km away) with a 10 month old child to our location and change it there.. this was with no guarantee that the vehicle would be changed. Spent over an hour in 30c sun while repeatedly being asked to move all of our luggage back and forth between the car park and office - trying to do this with a young child is a nightmare. Office went to great lengths to show that they had no alternative cars. In the end I told them that I would rent from one of the other agencies and Avis could pay the difference - they found a car within 5 minutes of saying this. Declined all insurance but they added it anyway... No response to our complaint from Avis on this...

I will never book with AVIS again. First of all, I booked a car from 9:00 a.m. which I arrived on time. We found the car was not ready for us. We were told to wait at least one hour for them to wash the car. The office lady was nice and polite though, she said I could ask the people in Avis parking lot the exact time. So when I walked to the parking lot and ask them if they could wash it faster since we have a trip to Rome and we really want to save more time visiting the city. The guy just told me it’s not their problem, other people returned late and I should talk less then cursed in Italian. Is it my problem that I booked the car starting from 9:00 and asked him politely if I can get the car one hour after that? Worst experience ever...

It was a great experience with the safety protocols checking in and I really enjoyed my vehicle. Being an American car dealer, I was impressed with the vehicle I received.

Friendly, efficient, reliable. Check in was smooth and the Avis staff at check-in were extremely helpful. I would recommend Avis at Florence airport to anyone and will be using them again in the near future.

Last time with Avis! - Expensive - Car was in very bad state. - Some Arrogant employees at the front desk - I ask the lady to check that the deposit was full after returning my car. She told me I shall receive my deposit into 3-5 working days. Now after 16 days I did not receiver any refund. I open a ticket, they claim to reply back after 10 days. After 12 days the not reply to my ticket either. Very dissatisfying and my worst experience with a rental company.
