Where the locals and their dogs go daily for a nice walk. Very relaxing. These are the medieval walls that used to protect and surround the ancient city

The trip was recommended by the officer who helped on the train station on Venezia Mestre. We had a good relaxing stroll on Treviso. The place was beautiful in autumn with a lot of trees turn into yellowy color. Went in from Porta San Tomasso. The port and the gate is beautiful, but the north part was more empty at the time. Most of the restaurants are closed, maybe due to our timing, in the afternoon. Closer to the center area of the wall, we saw beautiful canals, and then to the livelier shopping area with huge Christmas tree and a carousell. We bought the one day pass public transport but ended up using only 1x because we like the place and want to explore by foot.

This place is beautiful, full of life and very well kept. Treviso is a walled city and a big part of the north wall (the high inner part, over the actual wall) has been turned into a linear park, the outside has a river and a really nice place called "Penisola del Paradiso", a little island full of bunnies, chickens, roosters, ducks and swans, you can't access but you can see them from different angles. You can go for a run, use your bike to go around the almost 7 km or just a nice walk.

very suggestive walk inherited from medieval Treviso (Serenissima Republic, now we are no longer unfortunately due to Napoleon's inconsistency) .. enjoy it until all the bricks are stolen .....

Nice place for a walk. You can meet quite a few people exercising (walking or running) there, as well as families going for a nice walk by the river (or canals), on a Sunday afternoon. There are stairs every block or so, so you don't need to worry about going up at one point and going down at another. I didn't see stairs to the outer side of the city, though.

Nice place for walking, however in the evening would be good to have better illumination
