★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best fish restaurant we visited in a long time. We shared the Gran Crudo Nerodiseppia as a starter and it was truly amazing! The Angus beef Tagliata was great. The wine suggestions were a pleasant surprise too, for a very affordable price.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice, cozy little restaurant. Great value for the money. You can have good seafood with a friendly service and in a comfortable (but pretty small) space. Please be aware that it is very popular so it is much better to reserve beforehand.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ if you have kids dont go there!!! absolut unfriendly to family with young chilrens, the owner didnt let us in because we were with our two small kids. the restaurant was empty but the owner told us that we need a reservation!!! that is in triest absolut not normal!! you can eat better somewhere else!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Words do not describe how happy this experience made us. It was pure luck to find this culinaric treasure chamber while wandering in Trieste. Already before the first bite we had a good feeling: The trattoria was completly full at 14:30 and all of the guests were italians. It was hearthwarming, how passionate and patient the landlady explained the dishes. And our expectations were exceeded. I had the best Fritto Misto of my life and the Pistaccio Cake almost made me cry. I know, that this amazing culinaric place has no need for my rating, but I hope it guides some visitors of Trieste to this place to get the same emotions. Thank you for this experience and all the best from Vienna.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My husband and I had a really nice experience here. I found the food a little pricey. We ordered the scallop appetizer and fish pasta with mushrooms (forgot the name). The scallops looked wonderful, but we found them very bland and would not recommend this dish. I think sautéing them in butter and adding some salt would make a huge difference and maybe using another vegetable instead of mushrooms with that dish would bring out more flavors. On the other hand, the pasta was phenomenal! It was some of the best pasta I’ve ever had! Also, I really enjoyed the wine and our server was very sweet. I would definitely recommend coming here and maybe just avoiding the scallops.
