B	Benjamin Amos on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a risotto that didn’t have a great taste and gnocchis that had a not-so-fresh cheese on top. We also order a carbonara, which later on came as a different plate. We couldn’t understand how could this be mistaken, if the waiter wrote it down. But it’s ok, they went back to prepare it. It just came too late, as we all had our meals. The pasta was not completely boiled. The waiter tried to convince us that “in Italy they eat pasta hard” and he also tried to convince us from cooking it again, so that we could take it (and pay for it), even when everybody were already full. Then he started laughing ironically at me as I told him that we didn’t wanted to eat anymore because we were full, and we also didn’t wanted to take it because we had no fridge in the room. Two stars because the pizzas were actually good and the other waiter was actually really ashamed for this, but this is no way to treat customers.

The place has a cover charge of 2 Euros per person even tho it isn't stated anywhere and the staff didn't understand when asked before we sat. They speak a little english and a little german (it would not be so difficult to learn "cover charge" as well ;)). They also did not provide any bread or water to justify the charge, so there is that. The prices are 150% of normal restaurants but appropiate to the location I guess. Pizza was good at least.

Then we ordered food, which we waited for for over an hour, probably more. I ordered a pasta and got a pizza with the same name. It can of course happen but rule #1 as a waiter is to repeat back the order — especially if you have several courses with the same name. I was meant to share the course but my partner is vegetarian and the pizza had meat. We were starving when we got the food and didnt want to wait longer. These are just basic things that can turn a good night to mediocre, therefore the 3 stars.

You can find typical dishes of the southern Italian kitchen, mostly from the Naples’ area. We ended up here without recommendation, but I highly recommend it!

As there was no available table outside they put a new separate one for us. Menu is rather small but the dishes were of a high quality, we went for penne and gnocchi and could have taste the proper Italian tomato sauce with a mix of fresh ingredients. For both they did go really heavy on the cheese, which was definitely pleasant. Had a refreshing carafe of house wine and ended with a creamy delicious tiramisu. Seating outside is on a small vibrant square where you can feel the atmosphere of the city. On the top of all the prices were more than favorable! Definitely coming back, especially for the crispy pizza we saw on the other table.
