Service was friendly and prompt, atmosphere was a delightful mix of clean modern style and old world charm. Even the lone beef selection was delicious and perfectly cooked. Wait staff appreciated my attempt at poorly spoken Italian but spoke perfect English. Definitely one of the best restaurants in Trieste.

Unfortunately the owner seems to have his favourite guests. He took the wrong order, I got my food 30 minutes before my husband got his. First he got the wrong order than we waited a very long time for the first course he actually wanted. Other guests, who looked more important got the perfect service... After more than one hour my husband asked for the receipt, because he didn't get his main course. We wanted to have a nice evening- it' was our honeymoon- but we haven't got it. To sum up: What a pity - it's an expensive restaurant with good food, but you need to have a good day of the owner to have a nice evening (for the price of the food it is a very sad summary...)

A variety of fresh fish, sea food starters cooked to perfection. A bit steep on the prices, however the experience is great. I recommend bringing your special guest, it will be remembered.

But instead, you are being treated like a nuisance, unnerving and disturbing. A real pity, cause otherwise the restaurant has a good atmosphere, and good food. Prices above average.
