★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really nice place with typical Triestian cuisine (so basically Austrian stuff). Lots of pork and other meat. They also have a lot of nice local beers to go along. Service is friendly and they can speak German and English. Have fun here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was amazed at the 5 star reviews given by others , unfortunately our experience was of a1 star restaurant .. probably the worst dinner we’ve had in Italy .. maybe they saw us coming as gullible tourists .. overpriced for the fare on offer, the food was awful , overcooked stewed vegetables , canteen style Italian sausage you could buy better in a supermarket .. small portions of meat , overpriced beer and grappa that tastes like water.. to be avoided like the plague

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a good place, the food is actually amazing! Typical Trieste food in authentic atmosphere. Cons are: dirty toilets, and no green pass check upon entering (for eating indoors). Service is a bit slow and frantic, but very kind. Would recommend the typical plum gnocchi with cinnamon, they’re outstanding!
