★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Questa mattina ho mandato mio padre a prendere una SIM con un biglietto manoscritto da me (visto che ha 77 anni e non è molto tecnologico).
"Sim card senza promozioni attive solo per ricevere telefonate in vacanza".
È tornato a casa con una SIM card pagata 20,00 euro, appena l'ho inserita e registrata sull'account Telecom (dove sono registrati anche il suo cellulare e la linea di casa tutti a lui intestati) mi è arrivato un messaggio di una promozione a 20 GB, credito 0,00 euro e rinnovo tra un mese oltre ad altre opzioni attive.
Quindi, cercavo una SIM senza promozioni attive e ho ricevuto una SIM con una promozione da 20 euro e 20 GB che non mi servono poiché utilizzerò la SIM solo in ricezione chiamate per una settimana all'estero. Ho credito 0 euro e se voglio utilizzare la SIM dovrò fare una ricarica.
Sarebbe stato più onesto rispondere "gentile signore, ci spiace, ma non abbiamo quello che cerca", ammesso che non ce l'abbiano... anziché vendere una cosa che non corrisponde a quanto richiesto.
Domani mattina mio padre ritornerà, mi chiamerà e mi passerà al telefono l'addetto vendite sperando di risolvere la questione. Altrimenti provvederò diversamente.
Sicuramente domani aggiornerò in un senso o nell'altro la recensione.
22.12.2019: a me non serviva una SIM con promozioni attive. È come chiedere il culatello e ricevere il salame, è pur sempre un salume ed è commestibile... Ma è stato richiesto uno specifico salume. Spero adesso il concetto sia chiaro. Certo se non avessi avuto da accudire una persona allettata sarei venuta di persona, "purtroppo" ho preferito incaricare mio padre del compito meno gravoso, forse è un concetto complicato anche questo
This morning I sent my father to get a SIM card with a handwritten note from me (since he is 77 years old and not very technological).

He returned home with a SIM card paid 20.00 euros, as soon as I entered and registered him on the Telecom account (where his mobile and home line are all registered with him) I got a message of a 20 GB promotion, € 0.00 credit and renewal in a month in addition to other active options.
So, I was looking for a SIM without active promotions and I received a SIM with a promotion of 20 euros and 20 GB that I don't need since I will use the SIM only when receiving calls for a week abroad. I have 0 euro credit and if I want to use the SIM I will have to top up.
It would have been more honest to say "nice sir, sorry, but we don't have what you are looking for", if they don't have it ... instead of selling something that doesn't match what is required.
Tomorrow morning my father will return, he will call me and I will pass the sales person on the phone hoping to resolve the issue. Otherwise I will provide otherwise.
Surely tomorrow I will update the review one way or another.
22.12.2019: I didn't need a SIM with active promotions. It is like asking for culatello and receiving salami, it is still a cured meat and it is edible ... But a specific cold cut was requested. I hope now the concept is clear. Of course if I hadn't had to look after a bedridden person I would have come in person, "unfortunately" I preferred to commission my father with the less burdensome task, perhaps even this is a complicated concept
