★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best place get your wine order in Bologna. This place overlooks the Piazza Maggiore and they really have a good variety of wines, both to serve and to take home. I loved this place so did my husband and we really had a great time! I hope you enjoy this place as well ?

We always stop at Signovino whenever we see one in any Italian town because we know it is a good place for wine & food. However this one in Bologna surprised us - a rude waitress - dark hair, slim & small.
She gave me a wet wine glass (another glass my partner had was dry). I asked politely to change to a dry glass before she poured in the wine, she responded loud and rude " All our glasses are same , all wet !!" We were shocked by her rude manner. Obviously she should not work there if she does not even bother to get us a dry glass. Terrible attitude to chase customers away.. We will not return.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Opted to visit this store due to it's wide range of wines available and its location.
Needless to say we were not disappointed by the quality of wine, food and remarkable service by our waiter, Giuseppe.
Unless you're not a wine fanatic, I'd recommend you'd leave it up to the waiters to pair the choice of wine according to your liking/choice of food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a perfect place for wine tasting of wines from all over Italy. You can by a bottle in a very good price and the restaurant has a multi tastfull menu in very good prices. The location is the best in Bologna in the center of piazza Magiore and the service is full of smiling faces. Not to be missed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a good late lunch here on a recent trip to Bologna. We sat on the patio and the service was very good, especially as we did no have a reservation. The food was good, the wine was very good and it was a nice experience. The only downside is that we (two women) were approached by a very aggressive pan handler and two male staff members simply watched as the this man demanded money from us. He finally left when we continued to say no, but it would have been nice to have a little backup. That said, I imagine that the staff do get tired of playing police for us tourists and we did not actively look to them for help so one or both may have stepped in if we had asked. I wish there were a way to do a 1/2 star off because it was a small mark on an otherwise lovely meal. I also love their plates "this is happiness."
