★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fabulous chocolates, candies, and balsamic vinegar. The owner was very friendly and let me try several kinds of balsamic vinegar when I wasn't sure which to choose. I'm not a wine drinker, but they also have an impressive looking wine cellar to choose from.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice and available staff here. Here you can also find many typical products of Bologna and Emilia Romagna. On Saturday they also do happy hour with €10 for first glass of wine and €5 for the second one.

My wife and I were walking back to our hotel, and dropping into Gilberto's was the perfect end to our shopping trip. They have a great selection of wine in their cellar to choose from, and they were very helpful in guiding us through their many choices. Great ending to a wonderful day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is more of a sweets shop in my opinion rather than an enoteca. We were actually sent here to try the Parmesan and balsamic on our food tour. A really lovely shop with good cheese and balsamic but likely wouldn’t be back! Also there are 2 Gilbertos, make sure you go to the sweets store and not the ones with soap!
