★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sat here and did some chimpanzee tests while drinking a very cheap litre of white wine on the outside tables. Nice atmosphere. I had a pork cutlet with parma ham and parmesan cream. It was very rich and I could basically only taste cheese. The beef with cheese and rocket was nice. The ragu was great, nice texture of pasta.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We visited five restaurants for local cuisine while in Bologna. This had the best lasagna, and the best tortelloni. Service was very friendly but scattered, bill was reasonable. Five stars because When we return to Bologna this will be our first meal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing place to eat. It was suggested to me by a friend otherwise i probably wouldn’t have gone as it is in the city centre and looks a bit “touristy”. However, it is super authentic and incredibly good. I was only in Bologna for a day, otherwise i would have gone back for more.

This Osteria is very cute, located in the center of the city, so of course if you go,like me, on a Saturday afternoon… expect a noisy and crowdy lunch. BUT I really enjoyed my lasagna bolognese, I would recommend this place. Maybe try to skip it during the weekends so it’s more
Calm. :)
