★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were brought here as part of a food tour of Bologna. A lovely spot that serves up a wide range of drinks!
They don’t serve food, but you can bring your own. We picked up some tigelle and went in and had lunch with the locals in a very homely environment.
This is an ideal place for a long afternoon session ;)

Open to debate. But hands down best vibes in the area. The BYOF concept really should be more prevelant. Go to the market, grab what you want, come find a spot. Buy wine. Great wine. Drink that wine. Buy more wine, if you need more food go back to the market. Place is bliss.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's quite easy to miss this place as it's has the most unassuming entrance. We decided to pop our heads in and I must admit - by far my favourite wine bar in Bologna!! Friendly people, excellent wine, a discreet open-air garden area and the bar just has a cool/traditional Italian vibe.
Do not miss this place - It's isn't on the tourist map - and that adds to what makes it fantastic!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A Lot of Americans know this place from Stanley tucci and it’s exactly like it looks. A very school osteria. We went on a Monday afternoon and it was not crowded at all. Then went back that night and it was quite crowded.
You can only get wine or beer here (or spritz) But you can bring in whatever food you want from outside free of charge. The glasses of wine are between 3-5$ per glass and you can see below.
It’s a place full of people from all over students. Businessmen. Workers. And tourists. A must stop by in bologna.
I will return.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An institution. Come here to drink - they serve no food, but you can bring your own food if you like. Visit one of the delis just steps away and have them prepare a meat and cheese plate to take with you. This spot has been in continuous operation since the 1400s - specializing in local wine with a charming warm atmosphere. Make a reservation a day in advance or come as soon as it opens before it gets busy. It’s much loved by locals and tour groups so tables are in demand.
