★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wine store with huge selection of wines and amicable staff that make great recommendations. There wasn't a clear written menu for glasses of wine, but the staff spoke fluent English and really listened before recommending the wines to try. They have casual seats to have some cheese and ham for aperitivo, too. I would love to visit again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you want a polished tourist trap, go to one of the restaurants by Basilica di San Petronio. If you want a rustic wine bar with a great selection of wine by the glass, and a small selection of well made dishes, come here. 10 year old Barolo by the glass ( you could never find in the states!), as well as a killer Amarone. If you are a wine lover, you need to come here. Seriously. Great selection of bottles to purchase as well. Traditional, small selection of food. Staff all look like they have been here since the mid 70s since they opened. Lots of locals coming in chatting with them. They speak English and are more than willing to help you select something.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic spot to sample unique regional wines. Salumi plates and other dishes available if you want to eat too. We let our server decide and every glass was excellent.
