★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is one of the nicest restaurants i have ever been to. the menue is good, the dishes are most delicious, the service is really great, and talking to the lady of the house - with the finest smile of the world - in english is a great pleasure.
can really recommend the place by all means. (we were there july 22, 2014)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Perhaps after three days eating wonderful meals in Italy has spoiled me, but Della Corte Bistrot was a tad disappointing.
Our sympathique tour guide led us downstairs to the vaulted dining room, and we settled in for an authentic Bolognese lunch. I was persuaded to order the local white wine which was okay and pleasant, but did not have much depth or body. Our cheese plate was enormous, and I enjoyed eating fromaggi with the fried bread and crackers. Surprisingly, the let down was the pasta. The tagliatelle with a ragu sauce was decidedly mediocre, and my lasagne tasted bland, a poor comparison to the Arthur Avenue or Jersey hearty lasagne of east coast USA fame.
Service was very nice, warm and engaging, but so slow our jet lag almost had me fall asleep face down in my lasagne. That would have been a highlight and earn Il Caffe della Corte Bistro an extra star.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I loved this place! I went here two nights in a row while visiting Bologna because not only it was great food and drinks but all in the menu was available gluten-free!! Also, The service was great and the waiter was very helpful and attentive, and prices were normal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the places in Piazza Santo Stefano where you can eat delicacies and see the square. I tried a delicious dessert with chocolate and pistachios. To my surprise, they have a very well arranged interior patio. next time I will choose to dine there.
