★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Che dire, se abitate o passate per Bologna è d'obbligo una piccola sosta a uno dei panifici storici situato nel cuore della città. Vasto assortimento di dolce e salato, artigianalità vera come a casa propria, ottima la pasta fresca (eccezionali i tortellini), la crescenta tipica bolognese con i ciccioli e per chi desiderasse "addolcirsi" troverete specialità dolciarie casalinghe (anche eseguite su richiesta). Oltre i prodotti tipici locali meritano di essere menzionate le spianate al gorgonzola, provola e pancetta, stracchino e rucola che sono davvero fuori dal comune!! Di grande simpatia e cordialità anche i gestori del negozio.
Come avrete capito ve lo consiglio vivamente!!
What can I say, if you live in or pass through Bologna, a short stop at one of the historic bakeries located in the heart of the city is a must. Wide assortment of sweet and savory, true craftsmanship as at home, excellent fresh pasta (exceptional tortellini), the typical Bolognese crescenta with cracklings and for those wishing to "sweeten" you will find homemade confectionery specialties (also made on request). In addition to the typical local products, the spianate with gorgonzola, provolone and pancetta, stracchino and rocket, which are really out of the ordinary, deserve to be mentioned! The shop managers are also very friendly and cordial.
As you understand, I highly recommend it !!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il mitico fornaio del Mercato di Mezzo, carini e gentili sia Dante che la signora... grande scelta di pane e pasta fresca (anche i tortellini, con ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo) ma anche tanti stuzzichini come crescenta, pizze e grissini, da innaffiare con buon vino alla vicina Osteria del Sole!
The legendary baker of the Mercato di Mezzo, both Dante and the lady are nice and kind ... great choice of bread and fresh pasta (including tortellini, with excellent value for money) but also many appetizers such as crescenta, pizzas and breadsticks, from wash down with good wine at the nearby Osteria del Sole!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Panificio "bolognese", pur avendo Andrea e Licia buona conoscenza del tedesco ed inglese. Pane di qualità come tutti i progotti freschi. Mi raccomando assaggiate la crescenta al prosciutto ed i grissini. Ottimi il Tiramisu, la zuppa inglese ed il cream caramel
"Bolognese" bakery, despite having Andrea and Licia good knowledge of German and English. Quality bread like all fresh products. I recommend you try the crescenta with ham and the breadsticks. Tiramisu, zuppa inglese and cream caramel are excellent

The problem with this place is that they may scam you. They overcharged us by weighing unrelated things and charging them at the same price as the tortellini, when their actual price was several euros lower.
The place is very busy so by the time you notice, other people have taken their turn ordering and paying.
Honestly, it's not worth it. There are several other stores with products of comparable/better quality.
