We had never heard of this place and this custom and it just REALLY made our day! We said we would never be able to eat it all but we sure did! Wine was 13 euro a glass but well worth it!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic pastry shop that serves thick and rich hot chocolate. And if you are having an Aperol Spritz they toss in a three-tier serving of goodies! A must to visit when you are in Bologna.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When you have spent a long day trekking about a city on a cool and drizzly sort of day, you hope to stumble upon a place with excellent coffee and maybe a little something to eat. If you are very lucky, you find yourself at a heavenly little café like Café Pastry Gamberini. The service was lovely, the food - well, amazing. The coffee, excellent. A seat near a heater in the little sidewalk patio allowed for people watching (and the joy of watching four young men eat their way through a half dozen pastries each). It was one of my favorite little moments in Bologna.
