We had a reservation and no one came! They left us in the middle of the night, at the airport and they never reply to any email or complaint form! No refund, no answer! Unreliable and unprofessional!

Excellent service easy to deal with helpful staff we have used Sicily by car several times and always been very happy , we will return again !

horrible experience. We paid to rent the car online, and went to pick it up. They told us that we needed to have a credit card for the deposit, and so we gave them our debit card that also works as a credit card. (It's a French credit-card) It didn't go through, and they didn't even want to help us. We couldn't get our money back. The worst part about it, is that they told us that this happens all the time with French credit cards, and it's a constant problem that they run into. If it's a constant problem that they run into, then why haven't they looked into fixing it? I guess it doesn't matter too much to them, seeing as they get to keep the money, and the client gets no car. A reoccurring problem with customers that hasn't been fixed really shows where the companies' priorities lie. Why bother trying to keep customers when you can constantly scam new ones coming in? I really am an understanding person. I've worked in customer service for almost my whole life. No one wanted to help us. Would absolutely advice to stay away from this company. We had to go to another car company and rent a car last minute.

Son realmente un problema, he tenido una multa de transito y me han cobrado la gestion del envio a la policia local una suma disparatada. They are really a really big problem, I have had a traffic Tiket and they have charged me a crazy sum for the management of the shipment to the local police.

Scam company. Will not honour rates given on website and then raise then really by 50% when you get to the office. Also completely unreasonable hold charges of 900€ on a one day rental… 100% don’t be drawn in by their β€œlow prices”

Avoid at all costs if you have only Debit cards! Go straight to S!xt. Had a prepayed car with Easyjet and manager forced me to pay 90%!!! more for β€œinsurance”, thought I had it myself already. He was not willing to help and understand the situation at all.

4 months after my rental from Milan, I received 2 emails from SicilyByCar to say that I received a road ticket. Bit of an unlucky situation where my GPS passed me through a street which shouldn't be accessed at certain times. No problem, I'm ready to pay for my mistake and pay my fine. Unfortunately, SicilyByCar has charged me a €61 handling fee against agreed terms in the rental contract. The contract says that This fee is only paid IF I DON'T settle the fine personally. I'm more than willing to settle my fine personally but SicilyByCar have just taken that money out of my credit card straight away before I can settle my fine. I tried calling, but got no answer. I emailed 4 different email addresses and still have no answer. They don't even offer a live chat option. As far as I'm concerned, they're a bunch of thieves, ZERO customer service! REPLY TO SICILY BY CAR BELOW: Yes you are correct.. the €50+vat should be charged to me >> IF << I don't settle the fine myself. I am more than willing to pay the fine myself, but still you have stolen the money from my account. I emailed and called to settle this issue with you but I never got a reply. You have however replied here to defend your rating - which just goes to show where your priorities lie as a company. There are no resources for customer care, but there are resources to reply on Google!

Terrible! Worst of all! We had security issues with our bank account and rental office cancelled our reservation instead of waiting for the solution. They have charged full amount. After the rental, we were imposed a fine and the rental firm charged 60 euros for a stupid handling fee.. They charged 60 euros three times! That makes 180 euros without any reason! They stole our money! They are ridiculous! Don’t even try to rent a car from this robber company.!!!!
