Had a strange situation where I left my rental keys in a co-workers car. Avis team was really helpful in finding and returning the keys to me. Very thankful for their friendliness and professionalism

Rent of 8 hours.They told me that the car had little damages. I accepted the damages without checkin them to go to my trip. I picked the car at 11 and returned at 7 pm the same day without any new damage. I they try to charge me 400€ for damages, because when I arrived I let the key to the lady at Terminal desk. Inaceptable. AVIS must revoke the franchise to this company now. And trying to charge me an abusive of fuel extra for 1/4 of fuel used

If I could put 0 stars, I would. I rented a diesel car and 50km afterwards, it ran out of adblue. They nevera refunded me my money despite I present all the tickets and that I did everything as they asked me to. How can you treat your customers like this? It's insulting. I want to present a formal complaint.

Excellent customer care. We needed to make a couple of changes to our booking and the staff were extremely accommodating and helpful and made the whole process easy and straightforward. The car was clean and perfect for our needs.

Waited a reasonable length of time to collect car. Had booked a car with winter tyres. Was offered a model slightly better than the one booked via British Airways / AVIS, with guarantee that there was no extra charge. Arrived home to an email detailing nearly 50% of the original rental outstanding. 2nd time I've used this branch. 2nd time they have scammed me. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

The car given to us was not something that I would deem road-worthy. The cover of the left wing mirror was missing, and the fake leather covering the gear stick was broken and detached from its base. These damages were not reported on the piece of paper given to us at pick-up time (which worried us greatly). But this is not what has upset us the most. What has upset us the most is that the Milan Linate office is impossible to reach (by either phone or email) once you drive away. We landed on a hot day late at night, so we were hoping to sort out the missing damages the following day. Over the course of three days, I have placed over 40 calls (all unanswered) and sent an email (also not responded). I managed to speak to a lady in their call centre in Spain after altering the numbers I had to press on my phone's keypad. She was apologetic, and wanted to help, but sadly she said I really needed to speak to staff at the Milan Linate office. I never managed to do that, but the gentleman who took the car back from us accepted the damage was pre-existing once I showed him all our photographic evidence taken that very first night in their car park. Won't be using again.

3/23/22 - As of 4 days after this event, I am still being charged roughly 900 euros for this ridiculously small scratch on the windshield, have made many attempts to contact the Linate Avis office with no luck, and have had no support in reconciling Avis' absurd charge. I reiterate, do not rent from this location. It honestly feels like a scam. This was the worst car rental experience I have ever had. Upon returning the car to Linate, there was no one at the rental return to receive the car/keys. The next day, I received an email saying we are being charged roughly 900 euros for what appears to be a minor scratch on the front windshield of the rental car (in image), a scratch so small that it could not feasibly be picked up in the photos we took prior to driving off with the car. During our time with the car, we did not notice any damage to the windshield and did not cause any damage to the windshield. Even if we did cause the damage, 900 euros for a scratch due to something that could e considered normal wear and tear is egregious. On top of that, the office has been impossible to reach to work this out with them. Do not rent from this Avis location.
