Terrible car rental company! Be weary, if you do not buy all of the extra insurance they try to sell you they try to charge you ridiculous costs once you return the car! A FRAUD!!! With all the negative reviews below I see the situation has been the same and the car rental simply shook it off by replying to contact their customer service which is even more incompetent! Tourists beware this is the typical case of FRAUD by organized gangs!

If you decide to rent from this company you better read your contract well before you sign. I told the salesperson i did not want the prepaid fuel option. They registered me for it anyway. The contract has a confusing section where it lists all the services you've opted out of and BB Prepaid Fuel Option shows up on my list. But apparently there is another Prepaid Fuel option that was listed elsewhere. I returned my car with full gas and they charged me for the prepaid option anyway even when i tried speaking with and appealing the 90 euro charge multiple times. Read the charges to the T, don't trust that the sales people will do what you've indicated, and don't expect customer service to help, even if you're a loyal customer. Locauto has me seriously questioning whether I'll use Enterprise or National Rental Car again.

I came to the office on time and quickly received the car, the staff speaks English and makes sure you understand what’s going on, an employee checks the car damage together with you and adds anything you find into an electronic system, which already has the information about previous damage. Returning the car was a breeze, an employee met me at the parking lot, again checked the car, I signed the documents on a tablet and received copies by email. The only thing I’d suggest to improve is to make sure the location of the office on Google maps is set correctly and put a clearer sign that points to the Locauto car return.

Unfortunately I booked a station wagon car to collect on 29 June, however was given a smaller car. Customer care was helpful as she tried to sort matter. I was given a Fiat 500L. Luggage barely fitted and three passengers on the Back seat were not comfortable. This is the first time I booked Enterprise (locauto) and I will not book again. You should have available cars as I booked vehicle months before.

Pretty bad service. These people don't speak English very well. Andrea and specially Melissa and Claudia from Customer service all 3 of them... bad service. They will try to sell you fuel prepaid option which supposed to apply only if you return the vehicle empty and it's 70 euros. So I purchased that but I returned the vehicle with full thank and they still charged me 70 euros for fuel. They don't even have a phone number to call and speak with them in English. So I had to fill up some online form on there website and 2 days later Claudia from Customer service responded that there is no chance I will get a return of 70 euros. By the way couple days later I rented a vehicle in Zurich from different company and they had same fuel option. I returned the vehicle full again and there was no charge for the fuel!!! Please do not rent a vehicle from these people.

I have used their services at least 3 times and never experienced any difficulties or problems whatsoever. The staff is always friendly and relaxed, service are professional and quite digitalized. I always get the medium insurance as not doing so in Italy regardless of car company is always a risk but as said never encountered issues so far or other people that I've recommended them to.

They charged me 150,- for a 2mm chip in the windscreen. The damage repair costs 50,- and administrative costs 99,-. I would love to work as a secretary at locauto although i doubt they see any of this money. What a ripoff! Never locauto again.

Do NOT rent from this place! We returned the car at this location because our normal drop off at Centrale was closed without warning. After wasting our time due to their mistake we were reassured that it was their fault and no extra charges would be applied. Two days after they charged our card with 70€ without explanation and now we cant get a hold of them. STAY AWAY.
