โ โ โ โ โ I live in New York and have tried many different massage therapy places in the world. This one was by far the best.
If you, like me, have extremely tired feet from walking Florence, or tired shoulders from backpacking around, this is the spot for you.
It's a no-frills spot and the main massage therapist speaks minimal English, but if anyone is critiquing this establishment for those reasons, you're evaluating it on things that aren't related to the actual quality of the massage.
The massage therapist is also extremely kind and warm-hearted. Be kind to her.
This establishment is a reason for me to return back to Florence.

โ โ โ โ โ This review is for a 45 minute foot massage and not the full body massage, fir which I suspect my review would be different.
In summary I would rate the actual foot massage as a 4 and the ambience, which is important to me, as a 1, so I averaged it out as a 2.5 and rounded down.
I had a man give me a massage which I am not used to, but since this was my first foot massage, I looked at him as I see a chiropractor or physical therapist. He had very strong hands so my left foot got a beating and only after I cried ouch a few times that he adjusted the pressure. The right foot was better.
The foot massage seats are at the reception area which was very noisy and busy with the owner in the back doing something or welcoming someone. There was no music so when I asked for some, she put Chinese music on here which made me ready to get up and start dancing, so I told her I will play my own music on my own phone. I played one of my favorite Spotify playlists on meditation retreat. It too me a few minutes to remember I had a headset, so I put it on and drowned most of the background noise. I then closed my eyes and about half way into the massage I was able to relax.
While there I can hear the full body massage action in the back rooms, so I assume the ambience there was more better but again, no general music in the background.
Again, to me the ambience is important and this I will rate this only a 2. Attached is a photo from where I was sitting but avoided included the masseuse and the owner unit for privacy reasons.

โ โ โ โ โ The full body and foot massage were very therapeutic and relaxing. The environment was clean and there was relaxing background music The lady (pictured) is sweet and technically competent....
The foot massage was really therapeutic rather than a "leg massage". The place is simple, don't expect a fancy place.

โ โ โ โ โ Iโve been going to foot massage places for 20 years across three continents and I can say this was one of the best massages Iโve had. Shu-Xin is the female owner in one of the photos here and she helped alleviate all the tension I had from carrying a backpack around for the past three weeks.
The place is exceptionally clean and comfortable, though not a โspaโ in its ambiance (itโs okay - you are paying for the service and not the atmosphere). I got the full body massage which is in a small private room to the left. I also tipped, which is customary in the US (not sure about Europe) but it was so good I had no issues with it.
Someone in another review said they would come back to Florence just for the massage. I laughed at that until I got oneโฆ now I feel the same way. Hope you get to enjoy!
