★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Misleading information. We came to experience "hammam" which according to Soulspace means gaining access to a small steam room. We were expecting the traditional exfoliating scrub and massage but that is not what they do here. The "aquajourney" includes steam room, heated pool, and lounge area -- standard features you find for free at any basic health club, not worth the time or money spent wanting to experience something unique. We wish we could have gone to Asmana spa instead.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We rang and asked if they had any space for the day spa as the massages were fully booked and they fitted us straight in. A beautiful retreat from the miles walked in wonderful Florence. Book now your body and mind won’t regret it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I took my boyfriend there for his bday and we had a great experience. It's a small SPA with a hot water pool, a relax room, a small steam room and a massage room. But the way the staff treats you and the location makes it worth a 5 star review. The massageurs are very well trained and the massage was excellent, just as all their customer experience.
Zelal, the owner, is incredibly kind. The entire place has a vibe that makes it hard to believe that it is located in the heart of Florence. The space is stainless and luxurious, a mix between modern and ancient, with a few columns here and there in what is otherwise a warm grey minimalist place. I also really appreciated that they had intellectually stimulating readings in the resting room, such as Art catalogues et similia. For instance I found a book on the Soviet artist Goncharova that was a truly appreciated cherry on top of the pie.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’m sorry to say but this was such a disappointing and expensive experience. I actually booked partly because someone here in the reviews said it was one of the best massages they’d ever had and I could not disagree more completely.
I didn’t feel particularly welcome or that the staff cared at all about my experience or well being there. I had to go find someone when my massage was more than twenty minutes late and got the distinct impression they’d forgotten about me. They put me in a cold room and left me for long enough that I started to think about leaving. And when someone finally came I got maybe the least effective massage ever. I don’t think she can have been trained. She didn’t ask if there was anything I wanted worked on in particular. There was no focus on muscle groups, pressure points or knots. I literally felt like she was just rubbing oil on me for an hour and a half.
It might be the first time I’ve left a massage MORE tense than when I arrived and part of that is because I spent a lot of time wondering if it was bad enough to make a scene and leave as I got colder and colder.
On top of it all this was the most expensive massage I’ve ever had anywhere (and I’ve had a lot of massages all over the world) €150 for two hours - I wouldn’t mind at all if I felt like I’d had a good massage and been pampered; It was a splurge to celebrate my birthday and I truly feel I just wasted my time and money.
One other point to mention if you’re still with me: this spa is co-ed. I had no idea there would be men in all of the spaces before I arrived and I wish I had been aware of it beforehand. For me it made it impossible to relax.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really nice facilities and well maintained. The massage rooms were well sized and use of spa was very efficient. The host was flexible and let one overstay the 1hr30 spa usage limit but felt a little transactional at times. A friend was offered a refreshment on arrival, I was not and I noticed there was no moisturiser on offer which for the price of the spa package I would have hoped for. Nothing a bit of fine tuning can't address though, so would go back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Enjoyed the most wonderful massage by Michele, followed by a super soothing experience in the steam room, followed by pool. I was the only person there, it was quiet, serene and was able to take time to fully absorb the amazing architectural ambiance of this hidden gem. It is set off a side street in the bustling streets of Firenze. Truly a worth visiting if you are looking for a spa experience within this city.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I cannot say enough good things about this place !! I decided to have my wedding rehearsal here (unconventional, I know ! But totally our style ;)
Zelal was in contact with me for almost a full year in advance, answering all of my questions and even organizing lunch for us ! She is so amazing , as is the facilities at Soul Space !
It’s a very intimate, boutique experience with some homages to Turkish bath style, yet with all modern elements . It also has the best steam room I have ever been in ! I had a facial and 2 massages and all of them were stellar .
I highly recommend them for anyone looking to have a relaxing moment away from the extensive walking of Firenze, as well as to anyone wanting to organize a unique event or group activity .
Thank you Zelal and the staff at SoulSpace !
